SEMA provides its members with a variety of opportunities to become engaged and have a voice in the automotive aftermarket through professional councils and networks. When you raise your hand to volunteer, you’ll connect with industry peers, receive leadership development training, identify challenges and recommend solutions for your niche market and, most of all, gain fulfillment from being a part of something bigger.

About Select Committee Volunteering

A Council or Network Select Committee is made up of elected automotive aftermarket professionals who are passionate about the advancement of the industry as a whole. The select committee serves as the council or network leadership and works with SEMA staff to strategically align its initiatives with current member and industry needs.

Select committee members work alongside industry professionals from different segments to provide valuable programs, events, education opportunities and other resources for the council or network membership.

An elected Select Committee member will serve a minimum of a two-year term. In order to be considered as a candidate, you must be employed by a current SEMA member company and be a member of the council or network in which you are interested in volunteering for.
