SEMA Cares Introduces Build-At-Home Campaign

Established in 2007, SEMA Cares steers the same dedication and passion our membership has for automotive endeavors to helping children and others in need. SEMA Cares Chairman Melanie White is now handing the reins over to Kathryn Reinhardt. As the new chairman, Reinhardt is introducing the Build-At-Home fundraising campaign, a safe way to donate during the pandemic. This new campaign allows the industry to donate to SEMA Cares, and receive a fun project for both kids and adults to enjoy.

By donating to SEMA Cares, the Association is able to significantly improve the lives of many who need it through our contributions to the Austin Hatcher Foundation for pediatric cancer, Childhelp prevention and treatment of child abuse, and the Victory Junction camp for children with serious medical conditions and serious illnesses.

Hooker Blackheart announces the release of its Gen-III Hemi Swap Parts for ’87–’96 and ’97–’04 Dodge Dakota. The lineup includes engine swap mounts, transmission crossmembers, transmission adapter brackets, Tri-Y stainless headers and K-member filler plates. The engine swap mounts are designed to work with a modular transmission crossmember to move the engine slightly forward to allow intake manifold and Hellcat supercharger clearance. Mounts include two engine mounting brackets, attaching hardware and instructions. The transmission crossmember is a modular design that is constructed to allow the use of several different transmissions. The headers are made from 304 stainless steel and are manufactured to provide clearance to the brake booster, steering shaft, starter motor (both left- and right-side-mounted starters), and provide clearance for several automatic and manual transmission options.

Mishimoto has launched its ’18+ Kia Stinger GT Intercooler Kit. The kit is designed to deliver max power gains of 8 rear-wheel hp and 8 rear-wheel lb.-ft of torque on stock tune. The kit is engineered to increase intercooler core volume by 94% and increase external fin surface area 74%. A methanol injection bung is incorporated on the cold-side intercooler pipe and 3-in. intercooler piping is constructed for increased flow. The kit should be compatible with stock recirculation valves and fits with most aftermarket intake kits. Performance intercooler, piping, cast aluminum merge manifold, and couplers are included.
