SEMA is enhancing customer service and raising awareness of its member benefits by assigning each member company with a single point of contact to assist with all Show-related services and with association programs and services. The in-house account representative will help members with booth space, sponsorships, magazine ads, Show registration, as well as non-Show programs including measuring sessions, tech transfer, research, education and more.
The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) strongly supports a provision to end a six-year clash over access to 189,000 acres of Southern California desert between the military and off-highway vehicle (OHV) users. The U.S. House of Representatives has approved a solution to create a dedicated OHV recreation area and provide land for training to the United States Marine Corps. The Senate is set to ratify the measure next week. The bill will then be signed by the President to become law.

SEMA members that sell or distribute products can now obtain an unlimited number of Product Data exports from the SEMA Data Co-op (SDC), at absolutely no cost. The savings, available to any SEMA member receiver in the SDC, totals $1,200 per year and is the newest incentive for members to join the SDC.
Applications for automotive scholarships are now available through the 2014 SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund (SMSF) at www.sema.org/scholarships Students preparing for careers in the auto or auto parts industries may be eligible for financial awards of up to $5,000.
