NPW Companies, based in Miami, has announced the acquisition of All Products Automotive, headquartered in Chicago. The deal closed October 16. The acquisition strengthens NPW’s professional customer coverage and expands their penetration across the United States, particularly in the upper Midwest. Both companies are family-owned and -operated. Greg and Jane Wintroub have successfully operated All Products for nearly half a century since 1972. NPW Companies celebrated 50 years in operation in 2019. Both companies are shareholder owners of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Inc. NPW currently has 16 warehouse locations and 50 store locations across the United States and Canada and services more than 150 Certified Service Centers. All Products brings an additional two locations and several more CSC locations. As part of NPW, All Products will continue to be badged as Auto Value. The brand has a national identity as part of the Alliance—an aftermarket distribution and marketing program.

Red Line Synthetic Oil Launches Virtual Event for Racers and Enthusiasts

Red Line Synthetic Oil has announced the launch of its new virtual event, A Peek into Red Line. Designed for racers and automotive enthusiasts, the educational sessions will provide in-depth conversations surrounding the company’s initiatives and the science behind Red Line’s key products. The event is free and will take place on Thursday, October 29, on Red Line’s official Facebook and YouTube pages, running from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (PST). Steve Torrence powered past his father Billy last Sunday at Texas Motorplex to win the 35th annual AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals.

S. Torrence, Beckman, Hartford and Savoie Pick Up Victories at 35th Annual AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals at Texas Motorplex

In an all-Torrence Top Fuel final round at their home track, Steve Torrence powered past his father Billy last Sunday at Texas Motorplex to win the 35th annual AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals. Jack Beckman (Funny Car), Matt Hartford (Pro Stock) and Jerry Savoie (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won in their respective categories at the ninth of 11 races during the 2020 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series season.

Points leader Steve Torrence won for the second time in three years at Dallas in his 11,000-hp Capco Contractors dragster, going 3.716 seconds at 328.78 mph in the finals to beat Billy’s 3.810 at 323.43. It gave Torrence, who has won back-to-back world titles, his fourth victory in 2020 and 40th overall. The Torrence family won for the third straight year at the race, as Steve advanced to the final round with wins against Cameron Ferre and Shawn Langdon.

Jack Beckman inched closer to the points lead in Funny Car, racing past teammate Matt Hagan in a final round with a run of 3.908 at 328.46 in his 11,000-hp Infinite Hero Foundation Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat. The win pulled Beckman to within four points of Hagan, who went 3.943 at 324.20 in the championship round.

Matt Hartford was remarkable on the starting line when it mattered in Pro Stock, earning back-to-back holeshot wins, including in the finals to beat Greg Anderson. Hartford went 6.625 at 206.39 in the championship round in his Total Seal/CIP1/Nitro Fish, beating Anderson’s 6.588 at 207.94 thanks to a .018 reaction time.

In Pro Stock Motorcycle, Jerry Savoie picked up his second straight win at the track by going 6.910 at 191.16 in the final round on his White Alligator Racing Suzuki. It was Savoie’s sixth straight final round at the facility, and he picked up his third career win in Dallas by racing past Joey Gladstone in the championship round.

The NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series continues October 23-25, with the Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals presented by Pennzoil at Houston Raceway Park.

Professional driver Shelby Hall and experienced navigator Penny Dale guided the all-new Bronco—on sale later this year—to a win at the Rebelle Rally last Saturday. Hall and Dale won first place in the X-Cross class at the event—a week-long adventure that requires contestants to cover 1,200 miles of Nevada and California desert terrain. In lieu of electronic GPS mapping, teams rely on old-school compass-and-map navigation to reach designated checkpoints along the way. All three Bronco Sport entries finished the rally. Novice off-roaders and Ford Bronco marketing team members Jovina Young and Erica Martin finished fifth. Competing in a third Bronco Sport, enthusiasts Elana Scherr and Betsy Anderson were close behind in sixth place. This year marked the fifth running of the Rebelle Rally—an all-women off-road event that begins near Lake Tahoe in Nevada and ends at Imperial Sand Dunes in California. Irwindale to Host 25th Anniversary All-Mopar Fall Fling

Irwindale Speedway & Event Center, the motorsports facility in Irwindale, California, has been selected to host the 25th Anniversary Fall Fling, an all-Mopar Swap Meet, Car Show, and 1/8-mile drag racing event on Saturday, October 24. Hundreds of Mopars and swappers from the Western United States and Canada are expected to participate in this year's event, which is open to modern Mopars, daily drivers, project Mopars, works in progress and “trailer queens.” Participation in drag racing is limited. Historic Sportscar Racing (HSR) officials have announced the 2021 event schedule, which again begins and ends at Sebring International Raceway in Sebring, Florida. HSR will also visit Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, Daytona International Speedway, Watkins Glen International, Road America and more. Highlight blockbuster events include the 43rd HSR Mitty at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta, April 21-25, and the HSR Classics at Daytona, October 27-31, and Sebring, December 1-5, which close out the 2021 calendar. Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Releases 2021 Schedule

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series has announced the 2021 schedule with 62 feature events at 32 different venues across 21 states. The tour will launch with 13 feature events during Georgia-Florida Speedweeks set for four different venues and beginning January 22-23, at Golden Isles Speedway; followed by a January 25-30 feature at East Bay Raceway Park, February 1-2, at Bubba Raceway Park; and February 4-6, at All-Tech Raceway. The 2021 championship battle will conclude October 15-16, at the 41st Annual Dirt Track World Championship at Portsmouth Raceway Park. All events will be live-streamed in conjunction with four live races on the MAVTV Motorsports Network. There will be 37 original events televised on MAVTV, three events televised on CBS Sports Network, one event televised on CBS, and 14 events televised on NBC Sports Network. Officials have released the 2021 schedule for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series. With a confirmed 55 races at 33 tracks across 16 states and the potential of more coming, next year's schedule is the largest in the series's 20-year history. Officials also announced an upgraded standard purse that pays $10,000-to-win, $2,000-for-tenth, and $1,000-to-start. Volusia Speedway Park opens the calendar in January with the Sunshine Nationals, a trio of shows set for January 14-16. Three weeks later, on February 10-13, the Outlaws are back at the Barberville, Florida-based half-mile for four consecutive nights to conclude the DIRTcar Nationals. The new Legacy Racing Association has announced that 4 Wheel Parts (4WP) is the official aftermarket parts supplier and title sponsor of Legacy Racing’s inaugural event—the Desert Showdown, scheduled for January 7-10, 2021, in Pahrump, Nevada. The racecourse for the 4WP Desert Showdown is 250 miles, and is open to cars, trucks and UTVs. Many miles of the racecourse have not seen race cars attacking it since the early 2000s. The event will start near Pahrump, Nevada, and finish in the parking lot of the Pahrump Nugget, the host hotel.
