Nearly half of retailers that responded to a SEMA survey think this will be a pretty good summer for specialty-equipment sales.
The SEMA Political Action Committee (SEMA PAC) has unveiled a
redesigned website at www.semapac.com that makes participating in the
PAC easier than ever. At the website, members can learn more about
actions taking place on Capitol Hill, which have a direct impact on our
industry and your company. For the first time, you can sign-up to
become “PAC-approved” (allowing SEMA to communicate directly with you
about PAC activities) or make an online contribution through our new,
safe, electronic forms.
During the last SEMA Show, 14,879 buyers went into the Las Vegas Convention Center to see the latest innovation in the hot-rod market. More than 70 exhibitors set up booths in the Hot Rod Alley section, registering 90 products in the New Products Showcase. Attendees scanned products from Hot Rod Alley exhibitors 2,955 times during the Show. And judges presented the elite New Products Showcase trophies to five exhibitors from Hot Rod Alley. Honors went to Flaming River Industries, MasterShift, RideTech, Coker Tire and Dakota Digital. [Read more]
The SEMA Financial Benchmarking Program was developed in order to provide SEMA members with financial benchmarks they could use to help measure and compare their business operations with others in the industry. Industry-specific key performance indicators are reported that can then be used by participants to improve or grow their businesses. [Read more]
