'MY CLASSIC CAR’ HOST DENNIS GAGE TO APPEAR AT SEMA SHOW 'N SHINE PUBLIC CAR SHOW
– Proceeds Raised at Summer Industry Event in Pasadena to Benefit Two Children’s Charities –

DIAMOND BAR, Calif. (June 14, 2010) – Auto enthusiasts in Southern California can meet the host of ‘My Classic Car’ Dennis Gage, as he is among the special celebrity guests at the 2nd Annual SEMA Show ‘N Shine Car Show being held Saturday, July 24, at the Pasadena Convention Center.

“I was extremely pleased when Dennis agreed to a celebrity appearance at this year’s Show ‘N Shine,” says Joel Ayres, SEMA Cares chairman. “He was excited about supporting SEMA Cares, the kids of Victory Junction Gang Camp and Childhelp, as well as ARMO's Take a Kid to a Car Show program. Dennis is well-known by car enthusiasts and his involvement will make this year's event an even bigger success.”

Gage will be signing autographs and discussing cars with attendees and vehicle owners during the Show. Last year’s show featured more than 200 modern and original muscle, pre-war classics and European exotics. The car show is held in connection with the SEMA Installation Banquet & Gala Fundraiser and the Pinewood Drag Races, and is a fundraiser for children’s charities Childhelp and Victory Junction Gang Camp.

“It's a true honor to support SEMA’s 2nd annual public car show,” said Dennis Gage, host of My Classic Car. “This industry has been an important part of my life and it’s one that I'm very proud to be a part of. I can’t think of a better way to support these two great children’s charities.”

Gage will be joining award-winning automotive designer and fabricator Chip Foose at the Show ‘N Shine. Foose served as Grand Marshal of the event in 2009 and will do again in 2010.

Vehicle owners interested in displaying their cars or trucks are encouraged to register early, as space is limited. Cost to display a vehicle is $75 and includes a collector-edition T-Shirt. All vehicle types are encouraged to apply, including classics, hot rods, musclecars, rat rods and special interest cars and trucks.

The SEMA Show ‘N Shine takes place Saturday, July 24, 2010, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, at the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E. Green St, Pasadena, CA 91101). Tickets will be available at the event for $5 per adult; Children 12 and under are free of charge.
