SEMA 2026 Expands ADAS Showcase With Vehicle Engineers, Hands-On Demos

Visit the Upper South Hall, booth #32100, for an interactive workshop on vehicle changes, repairs, calibration requirements and more.
SEMA Show ADAS Showcase

The 2026 SEMA Show will expand its ADAS Showcase to give automotive professionals direct access to vehicle engineers, technical specialists, late-model vehicles and calibration equipment as they examine real-world questions involving advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The rise of ADAS is among the most impactful developments for the automotive aftermarket, and SEMA has led the industry’s response through its substantial investment in its SEMA Garage program, impactful federal advocacy, and, now, a highly visible presence among SEMA Show programming.

Developed with the Society of Collision Repair Specialists and its ADAS Council, the interactive experience will take place in Upper South Hall, booth #32100 (view on the floorplan), adjacent to the Collision Repair & Refinish section. Programming is scheduled from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. PST daily, with additional programming delivered by the SEMA Garage and Government Affairs in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 3.

Representatives from Ford, General Motors and Rivian are scheduled to participate alongside collision repair and calibration specialists. Using two calibration bays, participating experts will demonstrate how cameras, radar, vehicle geometry, sensor positioning, mounting locations, replacement components and vehicle modifications can influence ADAS operation and calibration requirements.

SEMA Show ADAS Showcase

"Advanced vehicle technologies are creating questions across the automotive aftermarket, and businesses need access to credible technical information they can apply to their work today," said Tom Gattuso, SEMA vice president of events. "The SEMA Show brings vehicle engineers and aftermarket professionals together to examine these technologies in a practical setting, improve understanding and support more informed business decisions."

Technology and equipment providers supporting the hands-on learning environment include AirPro Diagnostics, ALLDATA, Autel, Car ADAS Solutions, Hunter Engineering, John Bean, OEC, Opus IVS, Repairify and Revv. Enterprise and Rivian are among the companies supporting the Showcase through vehicle availability.

By connecting automakers, technology and equipment providers, and collision repair professionals, the Showcase will allow attendees to examine how manufacturer requirements relate to the equipment, software, service information and processes used in automotive repair and calibration facilities.

"ADAS operation can be influenced by a range of interconnected factors, including repairs, replacement components, vehicle geometry, sensor positioning and modifications," said Aaron Schulenburg, SCRS executive director. "Examining those variables through real-world vehicles and calibration scenarios will help attendees better understand the technical considerations involved and how those factors can affect service, repair and calibration decisions."

SEMA Show ADAS Showcase

Rather than relying on traditional classroom presentations, the Showcase will feature short technical discussions around vehicles, components and repair scenarios. Topics will include calibration troubleshooting, sensor alignment, the relationship among vehicle geometry, repairs and ADAS operation, and the equipment and facility considerations involved in servicing different vehicle makes, models and technologies.

Each programmed discussion will be followed by an open-engagement period during which attendees can ask questions, inspect equipment and discuss service, repair, vehicle modification and calibration scenarios with participating experts.

The Showcase is intended to provide technical education rather than promote a particular calibration product or solution. All registered SEMA Show buyers and exhibitors may participate in Showcase discussions and demonstrations.

SEMA Show crowds

The countdown is on: The 2026 SEMA Show, November 3-6 in Las Vegas, is less than three weeks away. (Still need a booth? Start here.)

Before heading to Las Vegas, exhibitors should take the time to confirm the final details for their booth from services and shipping to registration and onsite support.

Freeman Services and Orders

Exhibitors should review booth service orders and confirm that all necessary arrangements are in place before arriving at the Las Vegas Convention Center. SEMA partner Freeman provides a range of exhibit services and solutions to help companies prepare their booths for the Show, including booth offerings like flooring, electrical, production and more; freight options like material handling and shipping services; and booth services like labor and cleaning.

Review orders, confirm service details, and address any remaining needs through Freeman online.

Review Shipping Options and Hand-Carry Rules

Exhibitors have five options for shipping materials to the 2026 SEMA Show: Freeman's advance warehouse, direct delivery through the marshaling yard, personally-owned vehicles (POV) with Freeman-assisted material handling, hand-carry/self-unload, and direct shipping through priority carriers such as FedEx, UPS or DHL. Each option has different deadlines, arrival procedures and requirements.

Planning to drive materials to the convention center? POV deliveries with Freeman assistance incur material handling fees. Hand-carry/self-unload requires materials to be carried by full-time company employees, with a 30-minute unloading limit and no unattended vehicles.

Review the "ABCs of Shipping to Your Booth" section of the SEMA Show Exhibitor Service Manual for shipping deadlines, delivery instructions, equipment restrictions and complete requirements.

Confirm Exhibitor Registration Details

Exhibitors who still need to register or make changes requiring payment should visit the Exhibitor Registration area in the South Hall Lower East Lobby at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Registered exhibitors who have a QR code confirmation and only need their badge printed can use satellite exhibitor registration desks in the Lower South Hall West Lobby, Central Hall or West Hall.

Satellite locations are for badge printing only. Exhibitors must present their personalized QR code confirmation and a valid, government-issued photo ID with a name matching the badge. Badges can only be printed for the person named on the badge; picking up badges for colleagues is not permitted.

Exhibitors should review the SEMA Show Exhibitor Service Manual for registration details and hours before arriving.

Need On-Site Help During SEMA Week? Know Where to Go

Questions or last-minute needs may arise during move-in or Show week. Before arriving, exhibitors should have their sales representative and other key contact information on hand.

Freeman Service Desks are located in each hall of the SEMA Show campus. Exhibitors may call 888-508‑5054 or email sema@freeman.com for on-site assistance.

Summit Products hosted Lee Zeldin of the EPA and the SEMA Government Affairs team

(Left image) U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin, left, and Summit Products CEO Albert Marasco. (Right image) SEMA's Senior Director of Federal Government Affairs Eric Snyder, left, Zeldin, center, and Marasco.

Summit Products in Altoona, Iowa, recently hosted U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Administrator Lee Zeldin, providing a tour of their facility and discussing ways the EPA can continue to support the automotive aftermarket industry and domestic manufacturing.

During the visit, Administrator Zeldin discussed the EPA’s July action to recognize SEMA as a certification authority for aftermarket vehicle parts, issuing a groundbreaking advisory opinion stating that a SEMA Certified-Emissions certification qualifies as a reasonable basis under the Tampering Policy and companies can rely on this certificate to demonstrate compliance. With this formal recognition, the EPA established a regulatory pathway for companies to show in 49 states (excluding California) that they meet the Clean Air Act's emissions requirements.

Administrator Zeldin also discussed the EPA’s implementation of its February Right to Repair guidance and President Trump’s Freedom to Fix memo, which sought to ensure every American can repair their vehicle and to provide aftermarket businesses with an EPA-recognized way to demonstrate their products are emissions certified.

The visit to Summit Products was one of several stops Zeldin made in Iowa and Wisconsin to meet with regulated businesses, farmers, industry leaders and local officials. At Summit, he highlighted how the Trump EPA is supporting vehicle owners and aftermarket businesses.

Lee Zeldin visits Summit Products in Iowa

"Small businesses are the foundation of the American economy," said Administrator Zeldin. "It was great to visit and tour Summit Products, a proud SEMA member and small business, in Altoona, Iowa. SEMA is working hard to make sure that small businesses can continue to thrive and be competitive. At the Trump EPA, we are fully committed to doing our part, from helping to ensure Americans have the right to repair their own equipment to our recent decision to grant SEMA third-party certification authority over aftermarket parts. The Trump EPA will continue doing everything we can to support American farmers, truckers, car enthusiasts and others."

Summit Products CEO Albert Marasco led a tour that included Administrator Zeldin; Jim Macy, EPA Regional Administrator for Region 7 (covers Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska); Iowa State Senator Cherielynn Westrich, who is also the owner of MalWood USA, which manufactures hydraulic clutch pedal systems, and is a professional car builder/restoration expert; representatives from Dee Zee and Modern Parts Sales and Marketing; and SEMA's government affairs and councils and networks staff.

The tour provided a first-hand look at how Summit Products designs, manufactures, and tests products that upfit RVs, side-by-sides, UTVs, B-Vans, boats and other vehicles.

Summit Products is one of many great examples of how a small aftermarket manufacturer can grow and thrive in today’s economy. Since 1998, Summit Products has designed and produced accessories for motor coaches just outside of Des Moines. Today, the company produces a wide range of accessories for high-end motor coaches designed to enhance appearance and add grace, including non-slip step edges and Awning Shark for rooftops. Summit Products is comprised of several divisions, including powder coating and plastic and metal fabrication, and the company also produces truck toppers and accessories to upfit UTVs and B-Vans under its Black River brand, along with glass and windows for buses, earth-moving equipment, boats, special vehicles, and more under its Fresco Glass brand.

Welder using Lincoln Electric equipment.

The Square Wave® 205 TIG Welder provides AC/DC TIG welding capabilities for aluminum, steel and stainless fabrication projects.

Explore welding, plasma cutting and automation for automotive fabrication at SEMA 2026, with live equipment demos plus guidance from Lincoln Electric.

At the 2026 SEMA Show, November 3-6, Las Vegas, custom car builders, fabricators and shop decision-makers can test featured Lincoln Electric welding and handheld plasma-cutting equipment in Central Hall, Booth 23413. Attendees can also explore metal fabrication, CNC plasma cutting, welding automation and collaborative robot welding through live, connected demonstrations.

Start With the Work, Not the Machine

Before comparing equipment, define the work it needs to perform. Start with the materials, thicknesses, processes, available power, movement between work areas and recurring setup or quality challenges.

  • What materials and thicknesses does the shop encounter most often?
  • Which processes are used regularly?
  • Where do setup time, training demands or rework create friction?
  • Is there a repeatable cutting or welding task that may warrant an automation evaluation?

A welder using Lincoln Electric equipment.

The FlexCut® 45 Plasma Cutter delivers portable metal cutting performance for fabrication, repair and automotive projects.

Evaluate the Complete Experience

  • Control layout: Are commonly used settings easy to locate and adjust?
  • Setup: What changes when the process, material or application changes?
  • Mobility: Can the equipment be positioned where the work takes place?
  • Repeatability: Does the setup support a repeatable process under appropriate conditions?

SEMA Show hotels on the Las Vegas strip.

The start of the 2026 SEMA Show, November 3-6 in Las Vegas, is just a few short weeks away, so if you haven't booked your hotel yet, now is the time to secure your room through OnPeak, the SEMA Show's official housing provider, to not only get the best possible rates, but accommodations that will help you maximize your week at the aftermarket's premier industry event.

While rooms are still available, space is limited. The official 2026 SEMA Show hotel block at semashow.com/hotel includes a range of options, including the following properties*:

  • Hilton Grand Vacations Club (Elara, Flamingo, Strip and Paradise)
  • MGM Grand
  • New York New York
  • Park MGM
  • SAHARA

Attendees who book through the official 2026 SEMA Show hotel block, managed by onPeak, can earn eligible hotel loyalty rewards points while taking advantage of discounted rates, flexible reservation policies and convenient access to Las Vegas' top hotels. Hotel reservations for the 2026 SEMA Show are available at semashow.com/hotel.

Whether you're traveling solo or coordinating accommodations for your entire team, booking through the official SEMA Show housing provider offers benefits you won't find through many third-party booking sites.

Earn Hotel Loyalty Rewards When Booking in the SEMA Show Block

One of the biggest advantages of booking through the official SEMA Show hotel block is that eligible reservations can earn hotel loyalty rewards points. Simply enter your rewards program information during the booking process, then confirm it again at check-in to receive eligible credit for your stay.

For example, Marriott Bonvoy members can earn points by:

  • Booking a participating Marriott or MGM property through the official onPeak reservation system.
  • Entering their Marriott Bonvoy membership number in the "Hotel Rewards" section during checkout.
  • Providing the same membership number again when checking in at the hotel.

It's one more way your trip to the SEMA Show can continue delivering value long after you leave Las Vegas.

Exclusive Rates With Price-Match Protection

SEMA negotiates discounted hotel rates exclusively for attendees, often below publicly available pricing. Instead of spending hours comparing booking sites, attendees can reserve with confidence through the official hotel block.

If you happen to find a lower qualifying rate elsewhere, the official housing provider also offers price-match protection, giving you another reason to book early through semashow.com/hotel.

Flexible Reservations

Travel plans can change, and the official SEMA Show hotel block is designed with that in mind. Reservations can be modified or canceled without penalty through October 8, and full prepayment is not required at the time of booking, offering flexibility that many online travel sites don't.

Simple Group Booking

Managing hotel reservations for multiple employees doesn't have to be complicated. The onPeak system allows companies to reserve multiple rooms with immediate confirmation, assign guest names later and choose whether to manage payments centrally or individually.

Sustainable Travel Options

Attendees interested in making more environmentally conscious travel decisions can also explore sustainability information for participating hotels through onPeak. The platform provides resources that help travelers identify properties and practices that align with their sustainability goals.

The 2026 SEMA Show is set for November 3-6, in Las Vegas. Interested exhibitors can buy a booth and learn more at semashow.com/exhibitor. Attendee and buyer registration is open online. For more information, visit semashow.com, the Registration Resource Center or the 2026 SEMA Show floorplan.

Black Forge Trucks

Booth #12010

RuggedGate tailgate cap.

Black Forge will debut RuggedGate, a patent-pending steel tailgate cap, at the 2026 SEMA Show.

Every late-model pickup carries a plastic cap across the top edge of the tailgate. It's a cosmetic part sitting in a structural spot. The retaining clips work loose over a few months of normal use, and the cap eventually tears off, usually under load in the middle of a job. RuggedGate is a steel tailgate cap that bolts to the truck's factory mount points.

RuggedGate installs over the existing cap, whether it's cracked, broken, or already gone. No drilling, no adhesive, no trip to a body shop. Eight pre-stamped holes land on the factory access-plate screw locations and the original screws hold it down, so install runs about two minutes. Mounted, it sits flush and looks like factory equipment.

Apollo Sprayers

Booth #34159

Apollo Sprayers International, Inc., a manufacturer of HVLP electric painting systems, will be showcasing its Maxi-Miser line of automotive painting systems at the 2026 SEMA Show.

Maxi-Miser is Apollo Sprayers' product line built specifically for automotive collision and refinish work. Shop owners, custom paint shops and mobile technicians. Maxi-Miser systems are engineered to address overspray, transfer efficiency and compressor contamination issues directly, according to the company, and will be the focus of Apollo Sprayers' presence on the show floor. For those who have not yet worked with Maxi-Miser painting systems, the company will offer a hands-on look at the equipment in operation, along with the opportunity to speak directly with the Apollo Sprayers team members who design and support it.

Apollo Sprayers' booth will feature its core Maxi-Miser lineup, including the Maxi-Miser 3000 PRO, the PRECISION-6 PRO and the POWER-6 VS.

A graphic for the SEMA Garage Autel Academy sessions.

Limited spots remain for November and December SEMA Garage Los Angeles and SEMA Garage Detroit AUTEL ADAS training sessions.

As demand for advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) expertise continues to rise, SEMA Garage is once again partnering with AUTEL to deliver hands-on, in-depth training designed to keep repair professionals ahead of rapidly evolving vehicle technology. These highly sought-after sessions focus on ADAS fundamentals, calibration techniques and proper reporting practices--skills that are becoming increasingly critical as more ADAS-equipped vehicles enter the market.

The next opportunity to participate in this training takes place at SEMA Garage Los Angeles, where space is limited and registration is filling quickly. SEMA Garage Los Angeles will host its next AUTEL ADAS training session on Tuesday, November 17, and Wednesday, November 18, with an optional expanded third day of training on Thursday, November 19, at the facility located at 1577 Valley Vista Dr., Diamond Bar, CA, 91765. (View on Google Maps here).

SEMA Garage Detroit will then host its next AUTEL ADAS training session on Tuesday, December 1, and Wednesday, December 2, with an optional expanded third day of training on Thursday, December 3, at the facility located at 14655 Jib St., Plymouth, MI, 48170. (View on Google Maps here).

For attendees looking to take their training even further, SEMA Garage now offers an exclusive expanded third day of instruction. The optional Day 3––November 19 at SEMA Garage Los Angeles and December 3 at SEMA Garage Detroit––builds on the two-day curriculum by applying diagnostics, decision-making and liability awareness to real-world ADAS calibration scenarios. Rather than standalone lectures, participants work through hands-on exercises designed to reinforce confidence and accuracy in the field. To participate, select the "3-Day" option when registering on the Autel website. Note: The "Day 3" option requires an additional fee.
