Members of the Light Truck Accessory Alliance (LTAA) showcase their vehicles throughout the SEMA Show each year to promote their products and expertise. LTAA recognizes a handful of amazing vehicles from member companies that have supported SEMA Cares Charities during the year by featuring them either in the LTAA booth on the Show floor or on the outdoor promenade between the South Hall and the Performance Pavilion.
Each year at the SEMA Show, the Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) partners with the Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) to have a booth in Hot Rod Alley in the Central Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center. This area gives both councils a place to gather and speak to companies and individuals about each group as well as the status of issues within the industry.
The Hot Products Showcase will take place April 20–22, once again at the Spring Carlisle Collector Car Swap Meet Corral & Auction in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. This event is an opportunity for members of the Automotive Restoration Market Organization (ARMO) to display one or more products in front of one of the largest gatherings of automotive restoration enthusiasts in the world.

SEMA created the SEMA-North American Council of Automotive Teachers (NACAT) Education Foundation Award to recognize and celebrate the automotive instructors of America. Their profession plays a crucial role in fostering the future of automotive professionals.
Each year during the SEMA Show, one of the highlights for the Young Executive Network (YEN) is the opportunity to present awards to deserving industry professionals for the work they’ve done benefitting the young people within the industry. This year, YEN was thrilled to present the Vanguard award as well as the Young Executive of the Year award at an awards presentation at the network’s annual industry reception.
Another year is in the books for the SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN)—a year that brought both seasoned and new committee members to the network, each committed to providing opportunities for professional women in the automotive specialty-equipment industry.
The Manufacturers Representative Network (MRN) spent time interacting with first-time exhibitors at the 2016 SEMA Show. The MRN select committee represented the manufacturers’ rep profession as a whole. Walking the exhibit space of the Performance Pavilion and the Westgate on Friday morning of the Show, they stopped at each booth to pass out bagels and Red Bull for a “last day of the Show” boost.
