Friday, April 1, is the deadline to submit SEMA Show applications to be eligible for the Priority Space selection process, but that's just the start of a solid game plan.

Planning early for the 2016 SEMA Show yields several benefits for Show exhibitors, including selecting the best possible space for the event, learning valuable tips and details on the most up-to-date resources available, and receiving guaranteed low rates on hotels.

Here are three steps, suggested by SEMA Show management, that exhibitors should complete as early as possible. Following the outline below will help companies prepare early, save time and money, and boost their overall ROI.

  1. Submit Booth Space Applications (by April 1) to be eligible for the Priority Booth Selection Process. Beginning May 2, the three-week Priority Booth Selection Process gives exhibiting companies the opportunity to select their best possible space for the SEMA Show.

  2. Sign up for the SEMA Show Exhibitor Summit, the most hands-on, cost-effective way for companies to prepare for the SEMA Show. The goal of the Summit is to help companies properly plan and budget to add value to their Show investment. The Exhibitor Summit is scheduled for Monday–Tuesday, June 20–21, in Las Vegas.

  3. Visit the Travel & Lodging page on to view the best hotel deals available for the SEMA Show. Hotel reservations made through the Travel & Lodging page include guaranteed low rates and benefits, such as no resort fees, and the convenience of making adjustments without penalties. SEMA Show management has negotiated with OnPeak, the Show’s Official Housing Partner, to provide Showgoers with booking flexibility and the reassurance of working with a legitimate company. In addition to hotels, the Travel & Lodging page also includes several discounted airline offers for SEMA Show travelers. Alaska, Delta and United are among the first airlines offering up to 10% off on round-trip airfare to Las Vegas.
