Goodguys Announces “Sunday Get-Together” for American-Made, American-Powered Rides
The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association announced an all-new, Sunday-only promotion for three events this summer and fall. The “Sunday Get-Together” promotion welcomes American-made or American-powered cars and trucks of all years, makes and models to the events on Sunday only. The three events scheduled to host the new Goodguys “Sunday Get-Together” include the Goodguys 5th PEAK Chicagoland Nationals, August 12–14 at Chicagoland Speedway; the Goodguys 10th Midwestern Nationals, September 2–4 at Kansas Speedway; and the Goodguys 18th Southeastern Nationals, October 28–30 at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Mr. Gasket Adds Lifetime Warranty
Prestolite Performance, manufacturer of several performance auto parts brands, including Mr. Gasket, is offering a lifetime warranty for the multilayered steel (MLS) head gaskets by Mr. Gasket. According to the company, the reasoning behind the new lifetime warranty, which covers the cost for defects in the material and the workmanship, is to showcase its confidence in the gaskets' enhanced features and capabilities.

Roush Yates Moves Into New Facility
Roush Yates Performance Products officially moved into its new location at 122 Knob Hill Road, in Mooresville, North Carolina. According to the company, the 40,000 sq.-ft. facility provides the company with the ability to stock more new and used parts.

CORSA Launches "How My CORSA Speaks" Contest
CORSA Performance Exhaust announced a summer-long video contest that invites customers to express why they love CORSA for their car, truck, SUV or boat. Fans of CORSA are invited to submit a fun, safe video showcasing what the company has dubbed "How Your CORSA Speaks to You." The contest runs from now through September 30, and the company requests that videos run between 15 seconds and five minutes and be uploaded to YouTube and then submitted to CORSA as a YouTube link. Royal Purple Crowns Winner of Reel Wars Video Contest
Royal Purple announced that "Dr. Dan" Lamoureux of Thornton, Illinois, was the winner of the Royal Purple Reel Wars Video Contest for his video, "Purple Bot." The video by Lamoureux placed top five among 43 submissions based on online voting, and was then viewed by the finalist judges: Courtney Hansen, host of PowerblockTV; V8TV’s Kevin Oeste; Paul Schiefer (Magnaflow marketing director); custom car builders Jim and Mike Ring; and Media-Motion producer Lynn Parsons.
