Off-Road Popular in China: U.S. Manufacturers Can Explore Opportunities Through New Low-Cost Program

Chinese Off Road Enthusiasts
Chinese off-road enthusiasts comprise a passionate market, one you can reach through the SEMA CIAPE China Business Development Conference.

Do you make products for off-road vehicles? This category along with sport compact and motorsports are promising growth markets in China. With the Jeep Wrangler and Cherokee among the most modified models in China, enthusiasts in the country are eager to purchase high-quality U.S. grilles, wheels and a host of other products.

SUV sales throughout China grew 43% in 2009, compared to the previous year, to 847,125 units, according to J.D. Power and Associates. In December alone, SUV sales shot up 105%.

Leverage this new market by participating in a creative, new low-cost program—the SEMA CIAPE China Business Development Conference. Taking place in Beijing, September 23–26, SEMA manufacturers will be pre-scheduled in up to a dozen one-on-one meetings with qualified Chinese buyers.
