The SEMA Garage Opens to Industry Wows
As the saying goes, you never get a second chance to make a good first impression. In recent months, the new SEMA Garage—Industry Innovations Center has officially thrown its doors wide open to SEMA members, welcoming them to let their creativity flow within the new facility. In return, the initial industry response has been incredible. Clearly, SEMA membership is intrigued with the possibilities.
The SEMA Garage is officially open and ready for business. After months of planning and renovation, SEMA recently held a party to introduce the SEMA Garage to the automotive industry. Many were able to see firsthand such features of the Garage as the photo cove, 3-D printer, training center and emissions lab. The Garage has been so well received and generated such interest that media from New York to Los Angeles are taking notice, and the SEMA Garage is making headlines.
SEMA has been awarded part of a $2.2M federal grant to expand exports of automotive aftermarket products into foreign markets, including Russia, the United Arab Emirates and China.

From 6:00 p.m.–9:00 p.m., guests will take tours of the garage’s installation center and product-development tools, while enjoying complimentary food, music and giveaways.
