SEMA is seeking nominations to recognize a young individual from the
industry who is making breakthroughs in the areas of new products, new
approaches to business or setting new trends. These nominations will be
used to select the first-ever SEMA Gen-3 Innovator Award.
The SEMA Show’s Ideas Alive: Featuring the New Products Showcase—one of
the Show’s most popular events—enables manufacturers to share their
newest products and best ideas to some 60,000 buyers. But once the
Showcase is over, exhibitors face the task of getting their products
packed and returned safely.
The 2012 National Championship of The Hot Rodders of Tomorrow Engine
Challenge build competition will be held at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas,
October 30–November 2. The following year, the Hot Rodders of Tomorrow
Engine Challenge will hold its 2013 National Championship at the 26th
Annual Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show, December 12–14,
2013, in Orlando, Florida, officials have announced.
The 2012 Hot Rod Industry Alliance (HRIA) Reception will include a live auction to support SEMA Cares and increase awareness for the third-annual HRIA Pinewood Builder’s Challenge. Fifteen well-known builders created
one-of-a-kind miniature hot rods in the style of Pinewood derby cars.
