The shooters at KGP Photography caught a prototype for the ’16 Camaro stuck in some construction traffic, so they used the opportunity to grab some ultra close-ups, providing their best look at many of the styling nuances destined for the all-new pony car. They got their best feel for the new headlight shape and the interplay with the new grille design. The front air dam is also nicely revealed, with a good look at the curves that lead into the chiseled chin spoiler.

With the Camaro's official debut scheduled for May 16, it won't be too long before we see the finished product. In the meantime, this new round of close-up shots reveals a little more of what's in store.
