Steve Keefer’s ’70 Chevelle placed among the Top 10 Hot Rods in the 2018 SEMA Battle of the Builders competition. Watch this video as Keefer gives viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the vehicle. The four-year project includes several modifications, some which are subtle and could be missed to the average consumer. Keefer notes that all of the fabrications were done in-house, including the front bumper, spoilers, engine cover and more. He adds modern touches to the vehicles, including LED dapper lighting and a touchscreen monitor to activate windows and lights.
For even more in-depth look at the SEMA Battle of the Builders competition, tune in Friday, July 5, as the one-hour television special airs on MotorTrend TV. You’ll see Keefer’s Chevelle as well as dozens of other top vehicles from the 2018 SEMA Show.

Press conferences are a good way for exhibitors to announce breaking news to the media. |
Applications for SEMA Show exhibitors to be included in the official 2019 SEMA Show Press Conference Schedule are now available. While press conferences are not recommended for every exhibiting company and should be reserved for those who have breaking news announcements that will be of interest to a large number of media, applications are open to all exhibitors. The submission deadline is July 26.
After submitting an application, exhibitors should receive an automatic email confirming that the application was received. Those who do not receive the automatic email may have experienced a technical problem.
For details, contact Rachel Tatum at rachelt@sema.org or 909-978-6669.
