 SEMA Show, Exhibitor Services Manual
The redesigned SEMA Show Exhibitor Manual features a new look, easier navigation and is ready for exhibitors to take advantage of early bird discounts and prepare for key Show deadlines.

By Jason Catullo

The SEMA Show Exhibitor Services Manual (ESM), considered by many to be the ultimate guidebook for preparing for the SEMA Show, has been redeisigned to feature a new look and easy navigation. Available online at www.SEMAShow.com/esm, the resource includes general information about exhibiting at the upcoming event, a list of cost-saving deadlines (www.SEMAShow.com/deadlines), and all the online forms an exhibitor needs to secure booth items at the Show taking place Tues.-Fri., Nov. 5-8, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

“The redesigned ESM comes at an ideal time, as exhibitors are now gearing up to register staff, book hotel rooms and planning the physical layout of their booths,” said Peter MacGillivray, SEMA vice president of communications and events. “Of particular interest at this time is the information under the ‘About the Show’ section, where exhibitors will find a list of frequently asked questions (www.SEMAShow.com/questions), a glossary of terms (www.SEMAShow.com/glossary), and details about what is included with a booth (www.SEMAShow.com/included-booth).”

More than 2,100 companies have already secured space for the 2013 SEMA Show, including 500 manufacturers that have never showcased their products at the event.

“While every exhibitor will find the ESM to be a vital resource, we strongly encourage first-time exhibitors to find some time in July to familiarize themselves with the manual,” said MacGillivray. “Deadlines start appearing at the end of the month; In many cases, exhibitors will see significant cost-savings and generate maximum exposure by beating those deadlines.”

More than 130,000 industry professionals are expected at the upcoming SEMA Show, which is a trade-only event open only to those employed in the automotive industry. The event is designed to provide manufacturers of automotive products and accessories with a venue to connect and do business with buyers from throughout the world.

For one week each year, the SEMA Show gathers the largest collection of outfitted, upgraded dirt shredders, people haulers and street machines that exist with the specialty-equipment industry. With the intent of turning heads, sparking ideas and igniting the imagination, these vehicles serve as mobile canvases for technicians and product engineers to realize their creative visions and provide a visual representation of what the industry and its companies are all about.

A new photo collection of the vehicles that helped make the 2012 SEMA Show a visual extravaganza are included each week in SEMA eNews. This week features a collection of Chevys.
