FutureTech Studio Showcases the Technologies Shaping Mobility at the 2026 SEMA Show

The exhibit will feature visionary vehicle builds, technology demonstrations and microlearning sessions exploring the industry's future.

From advanced powertrains and artificial intelligence to advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), emerging technologies are reshaping the automotive aftermarket. At the 2026 SEMA Show, November 3-6, Las Vegas, FutureTech Studio and the ADAS Showcase will give attendees an up-close look at these innovations through interactive demonstrations, featured vehicles and educational sessions exploring their real-world applications and implications for the industry.

The FutureTech Studio will return to the 2026 SEMA Show with more than 20 vehicles and a three-day education program highlighting technologies changing how automotive aftermarket products are designed, developed, and brought to market.

Topics include advanced powertrains and fuels, artificial intelligence, automated driving technologies, and emerging product-development tools.

Located in Central Hall, Booth #24401, FutureTech Studio will feature more than 20 vehicles showcasing alternative fuels and EV powertrains, a FutureTech Live Education Stage offering 21 30-minute microlearning sessions across three days, and product displays demonstrating real-world solutions to help manufacturers get products to market faster and easier.

"FutureTech Studio is designed to show industry professionals both where automotive technology stands today and where it's headed, helping attendees evaluate emerging solutions, understand their business implications, and identify opportunities to remain competitive," said SEMA Vice President of OEM and Product Development Jim Moore. "Attendees can expect a connected, hands-on environment where they can see technologies up close, talk with experts, and experience how innovations are shaping the industry's future."

Moore, along with the SEMA Garage team, plays a central role in supporting technologies featured in the FutureTech Studio. SEMA Garage serves as an advanced R&D partner for the automotive aftermarket, giving companies access to the engineering resources, testing capabilities, and technical expertise needed to accelerate product development and navigate compliance. Its Los Angeles and Detroit facilities help manufacturers transform ideas into market-ready products. The exhibit connects that technical work with the products, systems, and applications attendees can see on the show floor.

SEMA 2026 Expands ADAS Showcase With Vehicle Engineers, Hands-On Demos

Visit the Upper South Hall, booth #32100, for an interactive workshop on vehicle changes, repairs, calibration requirements and more.
SEMA Show ADAS Showcase

The 2026 SEMA Show will expand its ADAS Showcase to give automotive professionals direct access to vehicle engineers, technical specialists, late-model vehicles and calibration equipment as they examine real-world questions involving advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

The rise of ADAS is among the most impactful developments for the automotive aftermarket, and SEMA has led the industry’s response through its substantial investment in its SEMA Garage program, impactful federal advocacy, and, now, a highly visible presence among SEMA Show programming.

Developed with the Society of Collision Repair Specialists and its ADAS Council, the interactive experience will take place in Upper South Hall, booth #32100 (view on the floorplan), adjacent to the Collision Repair & Refinish section. Programming is scheduled from 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. PST daily, with additional programming delivered by the SEMA Garage and Government Affairs in the afternoon on Tuesday, November 3.

Representatives from Ford, General Motors and Rivian are scheduled to participate alongside collision repair and calibration specialists. Using two calibration bays, participating experts will demonstrate how cameras, radar, vehicle geometry, sensor positioning, mounting locations, replacement components and vehicle modifications can influence ADAS operation and calibration requirements.

SEMA Show ADAS Showcase

"Advanced vehicle technologies are creating questions across the automotive aftermarket, and businesses need access to credible technical information they can apply to their work today," said Tom Gattuso, SEMA vice president of events. "The SEMA Show brings vehicle engineers and aftermarket professionals together to examine these technologies in a practical setting, improve understanding and support more informed business decisions."

Technology and equipment providers supporting the hands-on learning environment include AirPro Diagnostics, ALLDATA, Autel, Car ADAS Solutions, Hunter Engineering, John Bean, OEC, Opus IVS, Repairify and Revv. Enterprise and Rivian are among the companies supporting the Showcase through vehicle availability.

By connecting automakers, technology and equipment providers, and collision repair professionals, the Showcase will allow attendees to examine how manufacturer requirements relate to the equipment, software, service information and processes used in automotive repair and calibration facilities.

"ADAS operation can be influenced by a range of interconnected factors, including repairs, replacement components, vehicle geometry, sensor positioning and modifications," said Aaron Schulenburg, SCRS executive director. "Examining those variables through real-world vehicles and calibration scenarios will help attendees better understand the technical considerations involved and how those factors can affect service, repair and calibration decisions."

SEMA Show ADAS Showcase

Rather than relying on traditional classroom presentations, the Showcase will feature short technical discussions around vehicles, components and repair scenarios. Topics will include calibration troubleshooting, sensor alignment, the relationship among vehicle geometry, repairs and ADAS operation, and the equipment and facility considerations involved in servicing different vehicle makes, models and technologies.

Each programmed discussion will be followed by an open-engagement period during which attendees can ask questions, inspect equipment and discuss service, repair, vehicle modification and calibration scenarios with participating experts.

The Showcase is intended to provide technical education rather than promote a particular calibration product or solution. All registered SEMA Show buyers and exhibitors may participate in Showcase discussions and demonstrations.
