Following is just a quick glimpse into the vehicle unveilings that took place on the Show floor:
Gymkhana Returns With Travis Pastrana and the All-New Subaru "Brataroo"
The Gymkhana franchise is back, and this time, it's going airborne—literally. Making its first-ever public debut at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, Hoonigan and Subaru Motorsports USA have unveiled the Subaru Brataroo 9500 Turbo, a wild reimagining of the 1978 Subaru BRAT purpose-built for Travis Pastrana's next installment of the viral film series. Set in Australia, where the term "hoon" originated, the new film will showcase Pastrana shredding landmarks and delivering the signature jumps, drifts, and close calls that define the Gymkhana legacy. Engineered by Vermont SportsCar, the Brataroo features a 670-hp, 9,500-rpm turbocharged boxer engine, all-wheel drive, and cutting-edge active aerodynamics for ultimate control both on the ground and in the air. Its carbon-fiber widebody, designed by Khyzyl Saleem, blends vintage Subaru attitude with modern performance and a retro-inspired livery nodding to Outback sunsets and Pastrana's trademark plaid. Inside, a carbon-and-woodgrain cockpit honors the BRAT's utilitarian roots with modern tech and custom details. As Pastrana puts it, "It's got the soul of a vintage Subaru with the tech to do things no Gymkhana car has ever done." The new film, Gymkhana: Aussie Shred, premieres this December on the Hoonigan YouTube channel. See the Hoonigan area outside, in the Silver Lot, Booth #84000.
