New Outdoor Thrills Await at 2025 SEMA Show

The 2025 SEMA Show, the largest automotive trade event in the United States and one of the biggest worldwide, unites more than 2,300 exhibiting brands and 160,000 attendees from 140 countries. Running November 4-7 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, this year's Show features 500 first-time exhibitors, showcasing the industry's commitment to innovation and collaboration.  

As the epicenter of automotive advancement, the SEMA Show highlights groundbreaking products and technologies. Attendees can explore interactive exhibits, participate in hands-on workshops, and attend more than 80 educational seminars to enhance skills and knowledge.   

In addition to the indoor activations at the SEMA Show, countless activations thrill Showgoers across the campus, including the following spotlighted outdoor activations scheduled for this year's event. 

Hoonigan Burnyard

Hoonigan will host its famous Burnyard Shows at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. PST each day of the SEMA Show in its outdoor activation area located in the Silver Lot #3. These sessions feature Formula Drift competitors, Australian-style burnout builds, off-road rigs, and much more you'll want to witness in-person, up close, in this Show feature.  

Hoonigan will also debut the next chapter in the Gymkhana legacy with the "Gymkhana 2025" reveal on Tuesday, November 4, at 12:00 p.m. PST, and Hoonigan Co-Founder Brian Scotto will present the teaser film during Tuesday morning's SEMA Show Kickoff Breakfast on Tuesday, November 5, at 7:00 a.m. PST, at the Paradise Event Center in the Westgate Las Vegas Resort & Casino

Additional highlights of the Hoonigan Burnyard include (all times PST): 

  • Celebrity signings – Lia Block, Tuesday, November 4, at 4:00 p.m.; Chip Foose, Friday, November 7, at 12:30 p.m. 
  • Mega Burnyard Show – Friday, November 7 at 1:00 p.m., replacing the two standard sessions 

 

HorsePower Rodeo (NEW FOR 2025)

HorsePower Rodeo is stampeding into Las Vegas, bringing a wild mix of motorsports disciplines to the 2025 SEMA Show.  

Located in the Diamond Lot outside West Hall, the daily demos feature superstar automotive content creator Westen Champlin, professional smoke-show driver Kyle Douglas, and a lineup of drag racers, drifters, classic muscle cars and modern burnout machines. The event celebrates the raw power, mechanical creativity and unapologetic passion of car culture, giving attendees a front-row seat to tire-shredding burnouts, high-speed drifts and jaw-dropping stunts. 

 

Nitro Circus Moto Mayhem  

Nitro Circus Moto Mayhem brings top freestyle motocross riders to the stage, performing impressive feats, precise tricks and remarkable maneuvers. These performances demonstrate the skill, creativity and technique of world-class riders, giving audiences a close-up view of their talent and control. 

Performances are set for multiple times daily, giving attendees numerous opportunities to catch the action (all times PST): 

  • Tuesday, November 4, to Thursday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. 
  • Friday, November 7, at 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. 

 

OPTIMA Unleashed  
OPTIMA Unleashed at the SEMA Show outdoor activation returns in 2025

 

OPTIMA Unleashed is back to ignite the Bronze Lot at SEMA 2025, delivering a high-octane finale to a week of automotive excitement with SEMA Fest. Powered by OPTIMA, the event will feature high-horsepower vehicles, precision drift demonstrations and a star-studded roster of drivers ready to thrill the crowd. 

Whether you're drawn by the roar of engines, the scent of burning rubber, or the unmatched energy of automotive legends in motion, OPTIMA Unleashed promises to be one of the can't-miss highlights of SEMA Fest 2025. 

 

SPARQ (NEW FOR 2025) 

Partnering with Westen Champlin's HorsePower Rodeo in the Diamond Lot is SPARQ, welcoming Showgoers with 145,000 combined square feet of drifting course action featuring top professional drivers, including Jeff Jones, Federico Sceriffo, Camren Sorensen, Amanda Sorensen and Richard Advani. Even better, SPARQ device owners can show their QR codes for "fast pass" front-of-line access on-site. SPARQ is an Irvine, California-based startup debuting its device and service, SPARQ Diagnostics, which pairs AI personalization to drivers based on their unique behavior and vehicles.  

Beyond the drift course outside, SPARQ offers a whole week of experiences at North Hall #10969, so be sure to stop by their booth for experiences including an immersive booth experience all week, a Cody Walker autograph signing, an AI-powered vehicle diagnostics presentation by CEO Daniel Nieh, and a press conference unveiling of its new driver-service platform. 

 

ADRENALINE-PUMPING ACTIVATION EXCLUSIVE TO SEMA FEST 

Experience SEMA Fest 2025 on Friday, November 7, where live music meets motorsports mayhem. This one-night-only event features chart-topping bands and adrenaline-pumping automotive activations, including one exclusive to SEMA Fest ticketholders: 

The Urias Family's Original Globe of Death (NEW FOR 2025) 

The Urias Family will bring their legendary "Globe of Death" act to SEMA Fest, performing high-speed motorcycle stunts inside a 16-ft.-diameter steel sphere. Built in 1912 by family patriarch Jose Urias, the original Globe has been passed down through four generations and remains the centerpiece of the family's daredevil performances. 

SEMA Fest attendees will be the only audience in Las Vegas to witness riders defy gravity, crisscrossing within inches of each other, sometimes with a performer standing in the center, inside this century-old icon of motorsports showmanship.
