Longtime SEMA employee David Block passed away November 25, 2020, due to ongoing health issues. He worked for SEMA from 2003 until his retirement in 2019.
Block was known for his helpful nature and positive attitude among SEMA members and coworkers. He started his career at SEMA in the membership department, answering questions and helping companies take advantage of SEMA benefits.
In 2010, Block transitioned to SEMA News ad/sales coordinator, where he was a key contact with companies advertising in the magazine and at the SEMA Show.
His final resting place is next to his mother’s grave in his home state of Michigan.
