Laurel Dasher Joins Paramount Data Management

Paramount Data Management (PDM Automotive) has announced the addition of Laurel Dasher as the new vice president, sales and marketing. In this new role, Dasher will lead the company’s sales and marketing efforts for the latest technology in automotive aftermarket data exchange between manufacturers and receivers. Dasher is a 20+ year veteran of the automotive aftermarket in serving various sales and marketing roles with MagnaFlow, Superchips/Edge Products, MSD Ignition and B&M Automotive. She has a long history of volunteering with SEMA, including serving two terms on the SEMA Board of Directors, Young Executives Network (YEN) chair, and she received the 2009 SEMA Businesswomen’s Network (SBN) Person of the Year and the 2005 Young Executive Network Person of the Year awards.

EnerSys has announced it is the recipient of the 2019 Allegiant Power “Best in Sales” award. Triumphing over 32 competing companies from across the country, the Transportation & Specialty team accepted the accolade during the annual Allegiant Power Show, held in Washington, D.C., from October 3–6. This award is earned by generating the most revenue during the three-day show. Since 2015, Allegiant Power has presented the “Best in Sales” award as a way of recognizing and thanking vendors for their commitment to the show and attendees.

Tuner School Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary

Tuner School, part of the Hennessey Performance Engineering family, is celebrating 10 years as an automotive technical school dedicated to teaching car enthusiasts how to modify and tune cars, sports cars and race cars. Tuner School is also adding additional classes and expanding into a larger, dedicated facility.

Firestone Industrial Products Opens New Distribution Center in Europe

Firestone Industrial Products Company LLC (FSIP) announced a change in supply-chain strategy with the opening of its new distribution center in Chobienice, Poland. The distribution center has been officially opened by FSIP President Emily Poladian, and the facility will help to centralize the company’s manufacturing and distribution operations in Europe. Opening the new distribution center in Central Europe was a strategic choice for FSIP to better serve its customers in Europe. The new facility is located a short distance from the existing FSIP plant in Wolsztyn, Poland, enabling a smooth transfer of products from manufacturing to the warehouse. The modern distribution center has a footprint of more than 100,000 sq. ft., and it is equipped with four loading docks.

Motovicity Adds Injen Technology to Its Product Lineup

Motovicity Distribution has expanded its product lineup with Injen, available for shipment as of Friday, December 27.
