Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation Appoints New Board Trustee

The Automotive Aftermarket Charitable Foundation (AACF) has announced the appointment of Shannon McWilliams to its Board of Trustees. McWilliams is vice president of sales for Interstate Batteries. Prior to joining the Interstate Batteries team, McWilliams held various executive roles with a focus on driving corporate strategy, sales leadership and product development with Mistral Equity Partners, Capstreet and Westar Capital. He has extensive experience in the automotive aftermarket with Stanley Black & Decker, Mac Tools, Proto and several other hand-tool businesses that focused on technicians and shop performance.

Entrants must be a legal resident of the United States and 18 years of age or older. The Class Indoor Covers can be used for long-term storage. The Future Outdoor Covers are made of breathable, stretchable, waterproof fabric that is designed to protect the bodywork from extreme elements that can destroy the paint and cause rust.

SCRS Announces Collaboration With Spanesi for SEMA Show Booth Drawing

Entering into the 10th delivery of Repairer Driven Education at the SEMA Show, the Society of Collision Repair Specialists (SCRS) and the 50th year of business for Spanesi, the two organizations have collaborated to offer the largest SEMA Show booth drawing the association has ever offered from the SCRS booth. On Friday, November 8, at 1:00 p.m. SCRS will hold a drawing in its booth (North Hall #11173) for a Show attendee to win a Spanesi Touch Electronic Measuring System, including one year of Spanesi Touch Electronic Measuring System vehicle data. One winner will be awarded the prize package, with an MSRP exceeding $30,000. To be entered into the drawing, attendees who visit the SCRS booth will be provided with a report card that features the locations of companies that have supported the SCRS Repairer Driven Education (RDE) series at the SEMA Show. Attendees who visit each sponsor listed will receive a stamp on the card from the company. Once a stamp from each sponsor company has been collected, the completed card can be returned to the SCRS booth prior to the deadline to be entered into the SCRS booth drawing. C&U Americas Earns Eaton Corp.’s Highest Supplier Award

C&U Americas LLC has received the 2018 “One Eaton Supplier Premier Award” from Eaton Corp. Inc. The award was given to C&U Americas in recognition of the company’s exceptional value and outstanding service to Eaton across a number of dimensions including quality, productivity, innovation and technological advancements. Eaton presented the award to C&U Americas on August 28, during Eaton’s annual supplier conference at Eaton in Beachwood, Ohio. David Myers of Southington, Ohio, won a custom-built ’19 Ford Mustang RTR Spec 2 car in the recent Pep Boys and Pennzoil Mustang Giveaway Sweepstakes. The brand-new Mustang, a $1,000 Pep Boys prepaid card and more were presented by world champion drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. at a Pep Boys Cruise-In car event, Sunday, October 6, in Matthews, North Carolina. The ’19 Ford Mustang RTR was designed and customized by Vaughn Gittin Jr. Motorsports and includes a full array of upgrades from custom tactical suspension components to exterior elements, such as custom-designed body armor, exhaust and custom wheels. The Pep Boys Mustang RTR Giveaway, powered by Pennzoil, was an online sweepstakes that ran earlier this year.

Stowe Cargo Systems Launches Expanded Production Space and Redesigned Website

Stowe Cargo Systems has expanded its production facility and launched a redesigned website. The website and expanded production space enable Stowe to meet the growing customer demand for the Stowe Cargo Systems 2-in-1 Toolbox and tonneau cover and strong box systems. Stowe has also added 6,000 sq. ft. to its production facility in Davisburg, Michigan, in order to increase and optimize manufacturing and inventory space. The expansion includes additional manufacturing floor space and inventory space. The production space growth was launched to fulfill the increasing numbers of customer orders.
