Kentucky Bill to Promote Outdoor Motorized Recreation Approved by House; Moves to Senate

The Kentucky House has approved legislation to promote and fund outdoor recreation and tourism development by establishing the Kentucky Mountain Regional Recreation Authority (KMRA).

Legislation to promote and fund outdoor recreation and tourism development by establishing the Kentucky Mountain Regional Recreation Authority (KMRA) has been approved by the Kentucky House. The bill now moves to the Senate Committee on Economic Development, Tourism and Labor for consideration. The measure would provide recreational opportunities for, among other things, all-terrain vehicle riding, motorcycle riding, rock climbing, off-highway vehicle driving and pleasure driving.
