QA1 recently signed an agreement to sponsor NMRA’s True Street category, which is presented by Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords, and takes place at each NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals event. The company, located in Lakeville, Minnesota, has been a longtime supporter of the NMRA and Mustang racing across the country with its expanding line of shocks, suspension components, driveshafts, ball joints and other street/strip and race products.
VP Racing Fuels Named Official Fuel of Cars Tour, Title Sponsor of Super Late-Model Division
Officials with the Championship Auto Racing Series (CARS) Tour have announced VP Racing Fuels will continue as the series’ “Official Fuel” through the 2018 season. Under the agreement, VP’s CRT—a proprietary race fuel blend for exclusive use by all CARS competitors—has been designated as Spec Fuel for the series. In addition to being named the official fuel of the tour, VP Racing Fuels will be the title sponsor of the Super Late-Model division. The CARS Super Late-Model Tour fueled by VP Racing Fuels, along with the CARS Late Model Stock Car division, takes the green flag on the 2016 season beginning April 2.
Wilwood Named as a Series Sponsor with ChumpCar World Series
Wilwood has teamed up with ChumpCar International Inc. as a series sponsor with the ChumpCar World Series in 2016. Wilwood will offer support at more than 40 events annually across four divisions (East, West, Central and Canada). In addition to being listed as a series sponsor, Wilwood will provide contingency ($100 product certificates) to competitors at every ChumpCar event. Each competitor will be required to run at least two Wilwood contingency decals on the sides of their competition vehicles.

Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing has announced tickets are now available for the 26th annual International Drag Racing Hall of Fame Induction Banquet presented by Lucas Oil Products, Thursday, March 17, 2016. The induction dinner and ceremony will take place in Gainesville, Florida, at the Wyndham Garden Hotel Gainesville (formerly the Paramount Plaza Hotel & Suites). The NMCA Muscle Car Nationals Series starts the 2016 season at Bradenton Motorsports Park in Bradenton, Florida, the weekend of March 10–13. The 14th Annual Ross Racing Pistons NMCA Muscle Car Mayhem event includes 3,500+hp VP Racing Fuels Xtreme Pro Mods, Mickey Thompson Radial Wars, Street Outlaws, Edelbrock Xtreme Street and more, all competing for the chance to visit the Aerospace Components Winners Circle on Sunday.
