Transamerican Manufacturing Group Announces Acquisition of Poison Spyder Customs

Transamerican Manufacturing Group (TMG), an independent manufacturer of performance aftermarket off-road accessories, has announced the acquisition of Poison Spyder Customs (PSC). Poison Spyder is continuing to gain momentum in the off-road community. “I really admire what Larry McRae [PSC president] has done in building a predominant brand so quickly,” said Greg Adler, CEO of Transamerican Auto Parts. “Poison Spyder is a great fit with our brands and our customer base. We look forward to developing the full potential of what McRae and his team have already worked so diligently upon.”

Avery Dennison Appoints New Graphics Solutions Marketing Leadership

Avery Dennison has appointed Roxanne McSpadden as marketing director, graphics for Materials Group North America. She will lead the product innovation and management team for digital and screen and cut media, manage the technical team and channel programs for the Graphics Solutions business segment. She will report to Shelley Woods Whiting, who was recently appointed as vice president marketing, Materials Group North America.

McSpadden was previously director of global marketing at Graphics Packaging International in Atlanta, where she held various marketing leadership roles for the last nine years. Whiting comes to Avery Dennison from Georgia-Pacific Chemicals where she served as director of marketing, commercial development and sustainability. McSpadden and Whiting will both be based in Mentor, Ohio.

Power Automedia Hires Mads Buck as Senior Account Executive

Power Automedia has hired Mads Buck to its team of digital automotive experts. His automotive publishing experience took off with CSK Publishing, the original publishers of Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords, which was acquired by McMullen Argus Publishing. In addition to his experience with CSK and McMullen Argus, Buck has served as a group director for Primedia, account executive with Hemmings Motor News and most recently with Internet Brands’ Racing Junk online classified and dealer network.
