Gain Product Exposure Via the SEMA Show Online Media Center

By Rebecca Butler

The SEMA Show Online Media Center is a place for exhibiting companies to submit their show-related press releases. Releases will be posted on the SEMA Show website and promoted to media attendees. The Online Media Center was designed specifically for journalists to find show-related news and announcements. With more than 3,000 media in attendance, exhibiting companies are encouraged to submit a press release announcing their newest and most innovative products to attract the media's attention to their booth. There are a few things you will want to remember when submitting a press release:
  • It is important to have a strong, short headline that catches the attention of the reader.
  • Keep the press release short and sweet. Introduce the product or announcement without the added fluff. Readers will want to know what the press release is about right from the beginning.
  • You should always include a photo when you can. Many editors will only use releases that have photos, so make sure that when you do submit a photo it is a high-res, 300 dpi image.
  • Be sure to include your booth number and contact information.
SEMA Show exhibitors can post a release to the Online Media Center. For further information on PR opportunities for exhibitors, check out the online Exhibitor Manual.
