Jason Bruce Named Holley’s VP of Business Development

Holley Performance Products has announced that Jason Bruce has rejoined Holley as vice president of business development. Bruce is an industry veteran holding sales and marketing management positions with aFe Power, Street Scene Equipment, Holley and Hooker Headers. In his new role, Bruce is responsible for developing and coordinating new business projects across the Holley family of brands, including Holley, Hooker Headers, Flowtech Exhaust, NOS Nitrous Oxide Systems, Earl’s Plumbing, Demon Fuel Systems and Weiand intakes and superchargers.

“Jason is a proven team player, a guy who moves projects forward and a great addition to our leadership team here at Holley,” said Holley President and CEO Tom Tomlinson. “Jason’s initial focus will be the revitalization of our Hooker and Flowtech brands.”
 
Bruce added , “I grew up in Southern California around all of the Holley brands and, in fact, started my career at Hooker Headers. I am very excited to be back at Holley and to be part of the revitalization that is taking place. Holley has the best brands and great team members. I am honored to be a part of it.”

MAHLE Aftermarket Donates to Operation Support our Troops

MAHLE Aftermarket, Service Solutions announced a promotion through which the company will make a $50 donation to Operation Support Our Troops – America (OSOT America) for each Arctic PRO RHS 980 Series – American edition sold. The American edition features “Old Glory” displayed prominently on the front. The limited-time promotion ends July 4, 2014. The mission of OSOT America is to support the morale and wellbeing of American forces by providing comfort, resources and education to troops and their families both while they are deployed and after their return.

Wes-Coast Marketing has announced its newest team member Scott Holst, who graduated in 2010 with a bachelors of arts degree in business and economics from the University of California Riverside. After graduation, Holst joined K&N Engineering, working his way up from call center manager and working industry trade shows to becoming an account manager in charge of 10 key distributors.

Kahn Media Inc. to Provide Media Services for Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc.

Kahn Media Inc. announced that the company was selected by Nitto Tire U.S.A. Inc. to assist with targeted media outreach, new product debuts and event promotion. Kahn Media will provide Nitto Tire U.S.A. with media outreach and PR assistance for the company and its full product lineup, and will work with Nitto and its digital agency of record, Long Beach, California-based Cie Studios, on the development and implementation of dynamic public and media relations campaigns to elevate brand visibility, increase sales, and promote the company’s motorsports initiatives and events. Most recently, Nitto announced its new Formula DRIFT driver lineup prior to the season opener in Long Beach, as well as a sponsorship of The Off-Road Championship (TORC) Series.

Holly Mayfield Named Marketing Coordinator for The Marx Group

The Marx Group hired Holly Mayfield as the company’s new marketing coordinator. In her new role, Mayfield will provide support for The Marx Group in the areas of marketing, public relations and social media. Most recently, Mayfield was the marketing coordinator for the software company AVRS, where she was involved with copywriting, press releases, content review and contributed to the branding and development of collateral materials.

"Holly brings to The Marx Group a diverse marketing background in many areas including e-commerce, copywriting and public relations," said Kerri Petersen, vice president of marketing and creative services for The Marx Group. “Her attention to detail and ability to pull all the pieces together for each project contributes toward our goal of making each of our clients successful.”

SCRS Announces New Board Members

The Society of Collision Specialists (SCRS) has announced the selection of its 2014–2015 Board of Directors, which took place during the Society's annual election in April. The electoral slate included six candidates running for four positions; featuring four incumbents and two new individuals who were proposed by the SCRS Nominations Committee. All incumbents were re-elected by the membership. While there are no new board members, the new nominees will find places of involvement on SCRS committees to become further entrenched in SCRS activity as they seek board positions at future elections.

The 2014–2015 SCRS Board of Directors is made up of CJ Vermaak, Domenic Brusco, Jim Sowle, Dusty Womble, Aaron Clark, Bruce Halcro, Luis Alonso, Ron Reichen, Brett Bailey, Kye Yeung, Rodes Brown, Andy Dingman and Paul Val. SCRS bylaws allow elected board members to hold executive positions for a maximum of two, one-year terms, and each member of the Executive Committee was eligible to maintain their current position; there were no changes to the SCRS Executive Committee.

Brenton Productions Opens Third Location in North Carolina

Brenton Producitons opened its third location in Mooresville, North Carolina. 
 
  

Brenton Productions announced the opening of its third location in Mooresville, North Carolina. The new facility provides the company with instant access to all the resources in the Charlotte area, including interesting subject material and the ability to develop new programming for future use. The latest Brenton facility is located in the Talbert Pointe Business Park.

"The entire Charlotte region is rich in automotive and motorsports history and culture, and is fast becoming the center for all motorsports disciplines,” said Brenton managing partner Jim Cozzie. “We already spend a considerable amount of time in the area with our production crews filming material for our current productions. So having an operation there just makes good strategic sense."
