Axalta Racing and Jeff Gordon Will Unveil 2014 No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet SS Paint Scheme in Charlotte
Axalta Coating Systems will officially unveil the 2014 Brilliant Flames paint scheme on the No. 24 Axalta Chevrolet SS race car driven by four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Series champion Jeff Gordon. Fans will have an opportunity to see the new design at the NASCAR Hall of Fame in Charlotte, North Carolina, Thursday, January 30, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. in the Great Hall before the NASCAR season begins next month.
Gordon will be there, joined by popular motorsports announcer Winston Kelley; Vice President of Axalta Coating Systems and Head of North American Business Nigel Budden; Hendrick Motorsports Chairman and owner Rick Hendrick and renowned artist Sam Bass for a press conference. The paint scheme designed by Bass marks the 22nd season of a historical partnership between Axalta, Hendrick Motorsports and Gordon. Axalta's first sponsored race of the 2014 season will showcase the Brilliant Flames paint scheme in Las Vegas, Sunday, March 9, 2014, in the Kobalt Tools 400.

Martin's Shoulder Injury Takes Him Out of X Games Competition
Ross Martin crashed hard last Tuesday while testing in Crested Butte, Colorado. He landed on his previously injured shoulder making him unable to compete in last weekend's X Games. However, he should be ready to go for the next Amsoil Championship Snocross National in Deadwood, South Dakota, at the Rodeo Grounds, January 31–February 1.
EnerSys Becomes Official Partner of Team Penske
EnerSys and Team Penske have announced a multi-year agreement, naming EnerSys as official partner of Team Penske beginning in 2014. EnerSys will also become an integral partner with Team Penske and will have its ODYSSEY Battery brand on the b-post of the No. 22 NASCAR Nationwide Series (NSS) Ford Mustang beginning in Daytona.
The 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season will kick off Saturday night, February 15, for the official start of Daytona Speedweeks and the running of the non-points special event Sprint Unlimited. The NASCAR Nationwide Series season is set to begin February 22, while the 56th running of the Daytona 500 is set for February 23.
