Meyer Distributing Partners With Omix-ADA
Omix-ADA and Meyer Distributing announced that effective immediately, Meyer Distributing will stock many of Rugged Ridge and Omix-ADA’s Jeep Wrangler accessories. Meyer Distributing currently distributes from 43 locations, and the new partnership boosts efficiency and helps Omix-ADA reach thousands of jobbers and customers nationwide using Meyer’s distribution system. “We’re both very enthusiastic about this partnership because ultimately we both focus on what matters most in any business – the customer,” said Omix-ADA President Al Azadi. “This partnership essentially allows us to get more of our products in the hands of jobbers, industry enthusiasts and consumers, quicker and more effectively. Meyers has a quick turnaround, which is crucial for jobbers and installers and their reputation helps bring awareness to our family of brands.”

The Quarter Mile Foundation, using the current working title of "PROJECT 1320," is developing a series of documentaries dedicated to drag racing history from post-World War II to the end of the 1980s.
  

Motorsports TV Producer John Mullin to Create Pilot for PROJECT 1320
The Board of Directors of the Quarter Mile Foundation has selected award-winning motorsports television producer John B. Mullin to create an initial pilot for the PROJECT 1320 documentary. Mullin Production Group (MPG) is headquartered in Westlake Village, California, and is a producer of major network motorsports programming, including the Champ Car World Series (ABC, ESPN, NBC, CBS) and, in association with Chet Burks Productions, the AMA Superbike series for CBS Sports Network. MPG is noted for its vast experience with all forms of motorsports, and for its approach to topflight production that places the emphasis on storytelling and building the marketplace presence of the sport being covered. Foundation Chairman Traci Hrudka commented, “After reviewing John’s proposal, the Board felt that he and his Mullin Production Group had the understanding of drag racing and the performance aftermarket and the passion they carry for the racers, the enthusiasts and the industry that this historical documentary requires.

Timken Appoints Mark Ritucci to Regional Manager
The Timken Co. appointed Mark D. Ritucci to regional manager for commercial vehicle aftermarket sales for the eastern regions of the United States and Canada. Prior to joining Timken, Ritucci served as district sales manager at a leading commercial-vehicle parts manufacturer and territory sales manager at a major commercial-vehicle distributor. Timken reports that Ritucci possesses broad experience in the automotive industry, specifically in wheel-end related products.

Valerie Thompson, the CTEK Power Inc. sponsored owner/driver of Valerie Thompson Racing (VTR),  will appear on Wednesday, November 6, and Friday, November 8, in the CTEK booth (#10543) during the 2013 SEMA Show. The motorcyclist’s celebrity appearance at the Las Vegas Convention Center will be held both days from 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. “CTEK is a proud sponsor of Valerie and we are excited to have her join us at SEMA this year,” said Ken Palmman, general manager, CTEK Power Inc. “Valerie is a great ambassador for our chargers and accessories, bringing her passion and enthusiasm to her loyal fans who help support her sponsors.”
