RK Motors Collector Car Auctions to Offer Historic Hunt McLaren M26 Formula 1 Racecar
RK Motors Collector Car Auctions (RKMCCA) will offer collector-car enthusiasts the first-ever opportunity to bid on James Hunt’s iconic ’77 McLaren M26 (Lot #3032). The legendary racecar will be in the spotlight at the RKMCCA auction at the Charlotte Convention Center, October 31–November 3. The M26, chassis No. 3, is powered by a Ford Cosworth DFV 90-degree V8 that pumps out 525 hp. The M26 has been preserved and is race-ready, capable of 0–60 mph in 3.5 seconds, and a top speed of 195 mph.
The November RKMCCA auction will feature hundreds of collector cars representing multiple categories of investment-grade vehicles, from America’s favorite musclecars to rare European entries.
