Movers & Shakers: William Fotino Named President of Brake Parts Europe; Goodguys "America's Most Beautiful Street Rod" for 2013

William Fotino to Lead Brake Parts Inc. Europe
William A. Fotino was selected to serve as president for Brake Parts Inc. (BPI) Europe. Fotino will relocate and establish a sales office in Stuttgart, Germany, to handle the European customer base. “We believe Bill’s extensive global experience will certainly help maximize BPI’s presence in Western and Eastern Europe and expand our market share,” said BPI President and CEO David Overbeeke. Fotino was previously general manager for NAPD Chassis, and he was the founder and CEO of NAPD prior to that. After leaving NAPD, Fotino worked for Affinia for two years before accepting this position with BPI.

Goodguys Names "America's Most Beautiful Street Rod" for 2013
Harold and Tracy Chapman's "Pretty Penny" '33 Ford roadster from Andice, Texas, won the Goodguys 2013 Flowmaster "America's Most Beautiful Street Rod" award. The award was presented to the Chapman’s during the Goodguys 27th annual Flowmaster West Coast Nationals. The win capped off a big year for the roadster. It received “Best Rod” at the Detroit Autorama and was a top-five finalist for a additional awards this season, including America's Most Beautiful Roadster, Goodguys Street Rod d'Elegance and Goodguys Street Rod of the Year. For the latest win, Chapman will receive a custom toolbox from Snap-on, as well as travel accommodations to the Goodguys 16th Southwest Nationals, November 15–17, in Scottsdale, Arizona, to join the “Champion’s Arena” display featuring Goodguys’ Top 12 Cars of the Year.

JMPR Named Agency of Record for Prestolite Performance
JMPR Public Relations was selected to handle trade and consumer media relations by performance product manufacturer Prestolite Performance. JMPR's responsibilities will include helping to launch new products, publicize project vehicles and further brand awareness within the performance, racing and restoration industries among key consumer audiences. JMPR will also assist with company representation and brand development by directing and coordinating media outreach during consumer automotive events and industry tradeshows across the country.
