Complimentary SEMA Show Transportation—Shuttle Service Schedule and Guide

 SEMA Show Transportation, Shuttle Service

Industry professionals traveling to 2013 SEMA Show have several options for transportation to and from the Las Vegas Convention Center (LVCC). Show Management arranges complimentary shuttle bus service for Showgoers traveling between the LVCC and most official SEMA Show hotels. This money-saving travel option provides bus service from The Strip to the LVCC.

A large percentage of Showgoers choose taxis as the main transportation source between hotels and the SEMA Show, primarily based on perceived value and availability. With taxis, however, travelers need to account additional expense due to continuously running meters, as well as limited seating resulting in more time in taxi lines at hotels and the convention center. Complimentary shuttle service may prove itself as a comparable alternative in terms of travel time that saves travelers money.

To get the most out of the complimentary service, here is a look at the schedule, locations and function of the shuttles to help Showgoers keep a tight schedule and maximize their time at the Show.

Shuttle Bus Schedule Begins Early
Getting an early morning start at the SEMA Show is a proven tactic for buyers and exhibitors looking to take advantage morning meetings and breakfast programs, or for those who want to meet with colleagues or clients to develop the day's game plan. To accommodate early risers and those looking for getting most from a full-day Show experience, shuttle service begins at 7:00 a.m.

Buyers and exhibitors arriving at the Convention Center early can take advantage of the Show's newest attraction—Cars & Coffee, SEMA Edition. Beginning at 8:00 a.m. everyday of the 2013 SEMA Show, the new feature is where Showgoers can enjoy a cup of coffee and network with peers while enjoying a collection of custom vehicles that represent the style and innovation of the specialty-equipment market. The majority of the Show's exhibit halls do not open until 9:00 a.m.

Here is the current shuttle bus schedule:

Shuttle Between SEMA Show and AAPEX
Complimentary service to the APPEX (Sands Expo Center) show taking place concurrently with the SEMA Show is available Tuesday, November 5–Thursday, November 7, from 7:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. With buses scheduled to pick up every 15 minutes, many buyers have reported that the shuttles are the most time-saving and convenient way to travel from the SEMA Show to AAPEX.

The shuttle is a complimentary shuttle service provided for the SEMA Show and is separate from the Las Vegas public bus service and downtown express.

* Note: There is no complimentary shuttle bus service from official SEMA Show hotels to the Sands Expo Center on Friday, November 8.

LVCC Drop-Off and Pick-Up Locations
There are several pick-up locations at the LVCC: In the front of the convention center between Central and North Halls; behind the Grand Lobby by Freight Door 10; and in the front South Hall, as well as the back of South Hall.

Hotel Pick Up and Drop-Off Locations

Depending on which hotels SEMA Show exhibitors or attendees are staying at for the week, travel time between the hotels and the LVCC will vary. Staff at SEMA Show Host hotels are informed of the shuttle pick-up locations for their select properties. Showgoers are encouraged to get familiar with the location of their particular hotel's Shuttle Bus Pick-Up by asking hotel personnel at the front desk upon check-in. Here is a look at the hotels that are offering the complimentary service and the locations for boarding the shuttle busses.
