Sport Truck USA Inc. Acquires JKS Manufacturing
Sport Truck USA Inc. has acquired JKS Manufacturing, a privately owned company located in Alliance, Nebraska. According to a recent announcement, JKS developed the original sway bar Quick Disconnect system and specializes in manufacturing innovative suspension products for Jeep vehicles. "This acquisition will assist us in our ongoing efforts to strengthen our position as the leader and premier provider of choice for Jeep aftermarket products," President of Sport Truck USA Steve Olmstead said. "JKS is widely respected as a result of their continued commitment to excellence and quality. Bringing JKS into the Sport Truck USA family will afford us greater flexibility in offering more products, making the buying process simpler for our customers," Olmstead said.

PROJECT 1320 Documentary Reaches 214 Interviews
The Quarter Mile Foundation has gathered 15 more interviews for its PROJECT 1320 documentary. The interviews, which were conducted during the International Drag Racing Hall of Fame Induction Dinner (March 14), feature the following drag racing personalities: Jon Asher, Jack Beckman, Dave Boertman, Paul Candies, Jerry Coley, Harvey Crane, Steve Earwood, Bob Frey, Bernie Fedderly, Stan Gill, Jim Hill, Phil Hobbs, Larry Morgan, Fred Sibley and Rahn Tobler. These interviews bring the Foundation’s recordings inventory to 214 names for the documentary. 

Sylvania Automotive Signs as Presenting Sponsor of Hot Import Nights 2013 Season
Sylvania Automotive Lighting has signed on as the presenting sponsor of all 2013 domestic Hot Import Nights (HIN) events. Sylvania Automotive Lighting’s sponsorship of the 2013 HIN series starts with the first event this Saturday, March 23, in Fontana, California. Along with being the presenting sponsor, the company will also conduct the Hottest Lighting Contest at each HIN event, giving participants a chance to win $2,500 for showing off their vehicle’s unique lighting modifications. New to this year’s HIN series will be the Sylvania SilverStar zXe Lighting Zone, where vehicles with cool and creative lighting will be spotlighted on the show floor at each event.

Motorz and Katzkin Launch Leather Interior Giveaway
Motorz and Katzkin Leather Inc. have teamed up to create a leather interior giveaway contest that launched on March 15. The winner will receive a leather interior package from Katzkin valued at $1,995–$2,595. According to RCH, the new website incorporates user-friendly functionality, product photography and eCommerce capabilities.
