The 2011 SEMA Show New Product Awards Breakfast was enhanced this year with a sponsorship from CarCareONE by GE Capital, promoting the convenient financing solutions they provide.
The sold-out breakfast event included presentations from Olympic Gold Medalist and automotive enthusiast Apolo Anton Ohno, as well as the UPS Nascar No. 6 driver David Ragan. Bill Koppinger from Baer Brakes was the lucky winner of an iPad 2 courtesy of CarCareONE by GE Capital.
The winners of the New Products Showcase Awards were also announced during the breakfast.
The awards honor the most cutting-edge automotive products either on the market or about to hit the market. Nearly 2,000 new products were submitted this year for consideration.
Criteria that ranked high on the judges’ selection for the awards included superiority of innovation, technical achievement, quality and workmanship, consumer appeal and marketability.
