Radiator Specialty Company Changes Name to RSC Chemical Solutions
The Radiator Specialty Company—makers of Liquid Wrench, Gunk, TiteSeal and MotorMedic brands—has changed its name to RSC Chemical Solutions. In addition to its separate website for Liquid Wrench (www.liquidwrench.com), the company announced a new website for the Gunk brand, www.gunk.com.

Carlisle Events Partners With Gumout
Carlisle Events announced a business and sponsorship partnership with Gumout Performance Products, a division/brand of ITW Global Brands, a partnership that begins with Spring Carlisle (April 25–29) and continues through Fall Carlisle (October 3–7). By partnering with Carlisle Events, Gumout, one of the nation’s most recognizable brand names, becomes the “Official Performance Products” for all 10 Carlisle-based events in 2012. Additionally, Gumout has agreed to be the presenting sponsor of the Carlisle Ford Nationals, June 1–3, at the Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Fairgrounds.

Continental Tire Named Title Sponsor of Las Vegas Invitational, Las Vegas Classic
Continental Tire was named the title sponsor for two marquee college basketball tournaments—the Las Vegas Invitational and the Las Vegas Classic. Both tournaments will be held in the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas. The 11th annual Las Vegas Invitational (November 25–26) features the University of North Carolina, University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of South Carolina, and University of Southern California, Morgan State, Cal-Poly, Mississippi Valley and Tennessee State. The Las Vegas Classic (December 22–23) includes West Virginia, Baylor, St. Mary's, Missouri State, Bethune Cookman, Texas A&M Corpus Christi, Kennesaw State and Tennessee Tech.

PWA Makes Contribution to Project 1320
The Quarter Mile Foundation and its chairman Traci Hrudka announced that the Performance Warehouse Association made a generous contribution to the foundation's PROJECT 1320 effort to compile the history of drag racing and the performance aftermarket. "I guess you can say I was more than pleasantly surprised when John Towle [PWA president] presented me with the association's generous contribution," stated Hrudka. "I was aware that there was discussion among the PWA board regarding some degree of support, but what the association provided us with definitely will be put to good use in securing additional interviews of our pioneers." CJ's Tire & Automotive Services Receives Jeremy Carroll Award
CJ's Tire & Automotive Services was presented with the Jeremy Carroll Award at the Muscular Dystrophy Association's (MDA) Black and Blue Ball at Classic Harley Davidson in Leesport, for its continued support of the MDA. According to the Jeremy Carroll Foundation, the award is given annually to a company or individual who has "kept Jeremy's indomitable spirit alive by supporting the fight against muscle diseases." This year's Black and Blue Ball brought in more than $90,000, which benefits the local chapter of the Muscular Dystrophy Association and local families affected by neuromuscular disease.
