Cary Redman to Manage Edelbrock Midwestern Sales
Cary Redman has joined the midwestern direct sales team for Edelbrock. Tapped to manage the midwestern sales team, Edelbrock reports that Redman has more than 12 years of industry experience most recently as a national sales manager for Mr. Gasket (Prestolite Performance) and as a territory and key account manager for Holley Performance Products from 1999–2003.

New BASF Color Featured on Fox Marketing Civic Si
Fox Marketing reports that in '12 its Civic Si will feature a new BASF color when its makes its debut at the 2011 SEMA Show. The car will appear in Honda's booth on the opening day of the SEMA Show, Tuesday, November 1.

"Search and Restore" Host Tim Strange to Appear in DuPont's Booth the SEMA Show
DuPont Custom Finishes announced that the following vehicles will be on display in their booth at the 2011 SEMA Show: 2012 DuPont Calendar winning ’61 Chevy Impala, owned by Tim Brown of Jacksonville, Florida; a ’71 Challenger, owned by Bob and Karon Zeitler and painted by John Riehn of John's Autobody and Paint of Imperial, Missouri; and a ’50 Fleetline built by Tim Strange, owner of Strange Motion Rod & Custom Construction and host of PowerBlock TV series “Search & Restore.” DuPont also announced that Strange will make appearances to sign autographs in its booth from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 2, and 1:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 3.

Quarter Mile Foundation to Conduct PROJECT 1320 Interviews at the 2011 SEMA Show
The Quarter Mile Foundation will have a prominent presence at the 2011 SEMA Show, according to the foundation’s Chairman Traci Hrudka. Quarter Mile's booth (#10900) is located between the North and Central Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center. The foundation will conduct digital video interviews of industry and drag racing pioneers throughout the course of the Show. The first-person narratives are at the core of the PROJECT 1320 documentary film series about the birth and growth of drag racing and the performance automotive aftermarket between the late '40s to the end of the '80s.

Lucas Oil Products Purchases MAVTV Cable Network
Lucas Oil Products purchased control of cable TV Network MAVTV as part of its ongoing expansion program. Lucas Oil announced that it will make a significant financial investment in MAVTV and has plans underway to improve the quality of the programming and the value of the network. Lucas Oil has been one of MAVTV's key shareholders and strategic partners since its initial investment in the network in 2008. MAVTV now joins the Lucas Oil Studio family of programming, which already produces more than 350 hours of motorsports and lifestyle television programming annually. According to Lucas Oil, programming and infrastructure announcements will be made in the near future.

EGR USA announced that its will be giving away two Apple iPad2 units during the 2011 SEMA Show. To enter for a chance to win, individuals simply need to stop by the company's booth at the Show and sign up. The winners will be announced and notified after the event. EGR's booth (#30065) is located on the upper level of the South Hall in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
