Hanging signs help to increase your booth's visibility, but be sure they are in compliance with the SEMA Show Exhibit Display Regulations. |
To ensure all hanging signs are in compliance with the SEMA Show Exhibit Display Regulations, every exhibitor hanging a sign above their booth is required to complete the online form, located at www.SEMAShow.com under the "Exhibitor Manual" tab by September 9. Show management will make every effort to provide each exhibitor an e-mail confirmation of its approval or disapproval within five business days of submitting a notification.
In addition to the information listed in the form, exhibitors hanging a sign above their booth must submit a rendering or digital photo of the sign showing all graphics, placement in the booth and the sign's dimensions, including its width and height or circumference. Exhibits that qualify to have a hanging sign are:
- Perimeter Linear Exhibits
- Peninsula Exhibits
- Island Exhibits
Hanging signs may be hung at any height; however, the sign itself can be no more than 8 ft. in height from top to bottom and must be finished on all sides. Signs, lettering or graphics facing a neighboring exhibit must be located at least 10 ft. from the neighboring exhibit.
Hanging signs above Perimeter Linear exhibits may not be higher than 12 ft. from the ground, must be flat and set back 5 ft. from the aisle in front of the exhibit. All other linear exhibits are not permitted hanging signs. See Exhibit Display Regulations for more information.
