Performance Accessories launched its newly redesigned website featuring easy navigation and allowing access to all of the company's product line. Finalists Selected for Bridgestone Americas Safety Scholar Teen Driver Video Contest
Ten finalists have been chosen in the Bridgestone Americas Safety Scholars video contest. The top 10 finalists’ videos are posted at www.safetyscholars.com from July 11–29 for online voting. The creator of the video that receives the most votes wins a $10,000 scholarship; second- and third-place winners receive $5,000 scholarships. The top 10 finalists aren’t the only ones eligible to win prizes—one lucky voter is chosen each day during the voting period to win a special prize from Bridgestone Americas. Finalists’ videos are also available for viewing on social networking sites, including Facebook and YouTube. Winners will be announced August 1. Roush Yates Partners With Mallory Ignition, Brembo Racing
Roush Yates recently announced two business partnerships—one with Mallory Ignition and the other with Brembo Racing. According to a recent announcement, Mallory Ignition, a brand of Prestolite Performance, will collaborate to offer new products and post contingency programs. The companies plan to launch the Roush Yates and Mallory Racing Ignition System with coil. The partnership also includes more than $75,000 in new contingency awards. In addition, Roush Yates formed a partnership with Brembo Racing, making Roush Yates an authorized distributor of Brembo Racing high-performance brakes and accessories. Through the partnership, Gene "Gator" Morris was added to the Roush Yates Performance Products team as a dedicated brake specialist to help racers get the most out of their Brembo Brakes. With more than 20 years of experience in the motorsports industry, Morris will attend short track and NASCAR races to assist racers on selecting the best brakes for their racing applications.

PPG’s Cristina Fronzaglia Named Goodguys 2011 Woman of the Year
PPG’s Cristina Fronzaglia was named Goodguys 2011 Woman of the Year during a special ceremony at the Goodguys 14th PPG Nationals presented by Bridgestone in Columbus, Ohio. According to a recent release, Fronzaglia was an easy choice for the honor due to her ascension from a sales trainee to manager of marketing and communications of PPG’s Refinish division, as well as her creativity and boundless energy as a promoter of the industry. Her interest in classic cars and hot rods hit high gear when she was appointed marketing communications manager for PPG Automotive Refinish a few years ago. Her new role included becoming the “go-to” person for promoting PPG’s line of custom colors and paint systems geared for rod and custom stylists and classic automobile restorers.

Innovative Precision Manufacturing Opens Shop in Concord, California
Innovative Precision Manufacturing (IPM)—a full-service CNC machine shop manufacturing precision, machined components for an array of industries—opened a shop in Concord, California. IPM’s capabilities include Precision CNC mill and lathe capabilities with tolerances down to .0001 of an inch, manual machining, fabricating and NC capabilities. According to the company, it offers all the capabilities and cost-effectiveness of a large manufacturer, but with the small-company service and attention to detail clients deserve.
