Don't Miss Out: Truck/SUV/Off-Road SEMA Show Section Filling Up at Record Pace

More than 330 display trucks and SUVs made their way to Vegas for the 2010 SEMA Show.

While the Truck, SUV & Off-Road section at the 2010 SEMA Show experienced robust growth of up to 9% over the 2009 Show, the 2011 SEMA Show—to be held November 1–4—promises even bigger things for buyers and exhibitors in this market. It's still early in the game and exhibitor registrations are pouring in at a record pace, demonstrating their commitment to raising interest in their products and meeting with buyers. For buyers, this early interest is proof that the big industry players will be at the Show, presenting a can't-miss opportunity.

Last year, the upper level of the Las Vegas Convention Center’s South Hall was a shrine to this market featuring more than 250 exhibitors. Now, with more than five months to go until Show time, the number of exhibitors in the Truck, SUV & Off-Road section is up 8% over this time last year with 223 already registered.

Space reservation is also up 17%, so exhibitors in this section are clearly buying more space to launch more new products. Speaking of which, new-product registrations also soared last year, with truck, SUV and off-road exhibitors placing 284 products in the New Products Showcase. Five product categories dominated exhibitor submissions: winches, suspension accessories, trailer hitches, driving lights and bumpers.

Also, more than 330 display trucks and SUVs made their way to Vegas for the 2010 SEMA Show. The Jeep Wrangler was the most frequently seen display vehicle on the floor in the off-road segment, while the F-150 was the most-displayed truck.

Active buyers in the truck, SUV and off-road market scanned their badges at booths in this section a total of 31,252 times.
