Car and truck owners may now register their vehicles online for the second annual SEMA Show ‘N Shine car show, Saturday, July 24, 2010, at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California. Simply visit www.sema.org/shownshine to enter your ride. All entries receive a collector's edition t-shirt designed by automotive designer Chip Foose, along with several other gifts and prizes.

Awards will be presented in several categories, including a People’s Choice Award and a Participants’ Choice Award. The two vehicles chosen in the aforementioned award categories will win a spot to be displayed at the 2010 SEMA Show.

“Last year’s inaugural SEMA Show ‘N Shine featured an amazing collection of cars and trucks,” says event organizer Mike Spagnola of Street Scene Equipment. “We’re expecting this year’s event to be even more impressive and encourage those with show vehicles to come join us. This is definitely an event they will not want to miss.”

Legendary automotive designer Chip Foose will again serve as grand marshal of the Show ‘N Shine, and classic car expert and aficionado Dennis Gage will also be on hand signing autographs and talking classics. Show 'N Shine, held along with the Pinewood Drag Races, is a fundraising event benefiting children’s charities Childhelp and Victory Junction Gang Camp.

SEMA is also inviting all Hall of Fame members to attend the Show ‘N Shine, and will organize a VIP section for personal meet-&-greets with the car owners.

“The Installation Banquet and Gala Fundraiser regularly attracts a host of industry icons,” says SEMA Board member and 2007 Hall of Fame inductee Ron Funfar. “Our plan is to get some of those Hall of Famers to come to the Show 'N Shine to check out all the great cars, sign autographs and talk with their fellow enthusiasts. We’ll have a special section set up for them to hang out and talk about the good old days. It promises to be one of the highlights of a really great event."

Vehicle owners interested in displaying their cars or trucks are encouraged to register early, as space is limited. Cost to display a vehicle is $75. All vehicle types are encouraged to apply, including classics, hot rods, musclecars, rat rods and special-interest cars and trucks.

The SEMA Show ‘N Shine takes place Saturday, July 24, 2010, 10:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., at the Pasadena Convention Center (300 E. Green St., Pasadena, CA 91101). Tickets will be available at the event for $5 per adult. Children 12 and under are free.
