TITLE SPONSOR: The IRL IndyCar signed a six-year agreement worth more than $10 million per year for IZOD to sponsor the series. The new name is the IZOD IndyCar Series.

A RIDE: Jessica Zemken will drive a Tony Stewart Racing sprint car in selected events next season, but will not race a full schedule in any individual racing series.
OUTLAWS: Donny Schatz was crowned World of Outlaws (WoO) Sprint Car Series champion for the fourth straight season, while Josh Richards earned his first WoO Late Model Series championship.
NEW GROUP: Veteran racing mechanic Don Kenyon has created the United States Speed Association to sanction midget, Kenyon car and Legends car action throughout the Midwest.
