2009 Dealer Day: Unique Programs for Auto Dealers at the SEMA Show

SEMA President & CEO Chris Kersting talks to auto dealers about tapping into the accessories market at the 2008 Dealer Day.

Launched at the 2008 SEMA Show, the goal of the Dealer Day program is to help new and used car dealers discover workable solutions to dramatically increase sales and profits through vehicle accessorization and tap into the $31.9 billion vehicle accessory market.

The 2009 program is scheduled for Wednesday, November 4, 11:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m., and will include four educational sessions, lunch and an evening reception.

The four sessions include:

Dealers will learn how to use accessories to reinvigorate sales, stimulate floor traffic and create high-margin profit centers throughout the dealership.

Dealer Panel: Successful Accessories Integration Today
Top dealers share best practices on integrating accessories into the selling process with today's new business tools.

Turning Used Vehicles into New Money
Dealers will learn how to identify innovative strategies to speed inventory turns and increase higher-margin sales.

Warranties, Liability and Quality: Concerns and Solutions
Addressing the impact of accessories on new or used car warranties, along with the advantages of using an installer to reduce risk.
