Take a Kid to a Car Show This Saturday—Diecast Drags in Mesa, Arizona

SEMA member MyRideisMe.com will host its Diecast Drags, Saturday, February 28, 2009, in Mesa, Arizona. This fun event is great for kids as it involves diecast (or Mattel Hot Wheels-size) cars running at high speeds on two continuous, 50-foot long lanes of track.

All attendees are able to race free with a donation, the proceeds of which are donated to the Progeria Research Foundation care of Terry Foose, Chip’s mom.

The race takes place at the "Home Runs, Hot Dogs and Hot Rods" car show by www.Hotrodplanet.com, and will be followed with a cruise down "Main Street" in downtown Mesa.

For more details, contact Craig Pike at pikesan@MyRideisMe.com or to make a donation, go directly to www.firstgiving.org/terryfoose.
