MOVERS & SHAKERS: JOHN ZINN, ASHLEY FORCE, JAMES WILSON, KAREN CROUCH

ETool Developers hired John Zinn as its new president. Zinn has worked in many facets of the automotive aftermarket industry, including retail, manufacturing, distribution, publishing and e-commerce development. He was most recently the director of marketing for Stillen.

Hart, King & Coldren announced that James Wilson joined the company’s real estate transactional and land-use group. Wilson will focus on the acquisition, disposition, leasing and development of commercial and residential property. Hart, King & Coldren also hired Karen Crouch as the firm’s franchise and real estate paralegal in the transactional department.

SCCA Pro Racing added the Sebring International Raceway and Lime Rock Park to 2008 SCCA Speed World Challenge schedule. The SCCA Speed World Challenge championships kick off the season in Sebring, Florida, March 12–14, during the America Le Mans Series’ 12 Hours of Sebring. In addition, a Touring Car doubleheader will accompany the Grand-Am GT Classic at Lime Rock Park, May 24–26.

Nomination forms for the 19th annual Stater Bros. Route 66 Rendezvous Cruisin’ Hall of Fame in San Bernardino, California, are available online at www.route-66.org. The public is invited to submit entries for individuals and entities that made a significant impact on the automotive cruising era. The nomination categories are: legendary builder/designer; automotive manufacturers or specific vehicles; entertainer/media; and historic/miscellaneous. The deadline for nominations is January 31, 2008.
