The upcoming release of the 2008 Cadillac CTS is one of the most anticipated new model debuts of the year. Early reviews call it Detroit's most serious challenge to the performance luxury ground held by BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Lexus and Infiniti.
SEMA manufacturing members can now access CAD files for the new CTS through the Tech Transfer program and get a headstart on designing specialty equipment for the new Caddy.
"Essentially the whole vehicle is available to our members: engine, drivetrain, suspension, brakes, interior and exterior body panels, seats, instrument panels, shifter devices for auto and manual transmissions and front and rear fascias," says Tech Transfer's Oscar Munoz. "The whole vehicle is available minus safety-restraint devices and power management modules."
