The COMP Performance Group hired Brian Reese as director of business development. Reese was formerly the director of engineering for SLP Performance Parts, specializing in aftermarket performance with a focus on late-model engines. His professional career started at General Motors where he worked in Michigan at the Warren Technical Center and Milford Proving Grounds.
Lund International promoted Matthew Sturdevant to director of product marketing. Sturdevant, who most recently served as Lund’s director of brand management, was also the Marketing Manager at Deflecta-Shield from 1993–1998, helping to transition the brand when it was acquired by Lund 1997. According to Sturdevant, as director of product marketing, he will focus on “building a team of marketing professionals who are as excited about the potential in this dynamic and diverse industry as I am.”
The Goodguys Rod & Custom Association named Larry Brunkala’s black ’32 Ford Coupe the Goodguys/DuPont Hot Hues Hot Rod of the Year during the Goodguys Hot Rod Nationals at the O’Reilly Raceway Park in Indianapolis. All competitors for the award are required to drive a 130-mile course through suburban Indianapolis, as well as a 1/8-mile dragstrip trial and one lap around Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

For the 20th year, the Yokohama Tire Corp. will sponsor the Porsche Club of America’s Porsche Parade set for July 1–5, in San Diego. The Porsche parade is expected to draw more than 1,000 Porsches from around the country.
