Last year, SEMA created the Gen-3 Innovator Award to recognize the top young individual from the specialty-equipment industry who is making breakthroughs in the areas of new products, new approaches to business or setting new trends.

The deadline to submit nominations for SEMA's GEN-III Innovator Award has been extended to Friday, September 27, at 5:00 p.m. (PDT).

SEMA is seeking nominations to identify youthful innovators whose work is substantially changing the way the automotive aftermarket is doing business. These nominations will be used to select the second-annual GEN-III Innovator Award. SEMA will honor the award winner at the 2013 SEMA Show Banquet, which takes place the evening of Thursday, November 7, 2013.
