This year’s SEMA Show included a specially designed, purpose-built headquarters for the tire industry. A show within a show, the Global Tire Expo—Powered by Tire Industry Association (TIA) was created to focus attention on tire-industry innovations and opportunities. Judging by the positive reactions of all involved, the Expo concept turned out to be a great idea.
More than 190 exhibitors registered for a booth in the 2010 SEMA Show’s
new Global Tire Expo—Powered by Tire Industry Association (TIA). This
section of the Convention Center was dedicated to the tire industry,
serving as a focal point for buyers searching for the hottest
tire-related trends and products. During registration, 16,390 buyers
designated their intention to explore this category, noting an interest
in tires and accessories, including both passenger and light-truck
applications. To satisfy that desire, Global Tire Expo exhibitors
unveiled the following products both on the Show floor and in the New
Products Showcase.
SEMA is excited to announce that the 2nd annual SEMA Show Exhibitor
Summit will be held May 2–4, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center
and the Cosmopolitan Hotel. The inaugural Summit was a huge success and
an exhaustive program of educational sessions has been created to
ensure those in attendance will greatly benefit from the event.

A special group of enthusiasts entered the Las Vegas Convention Center on the final day of the 2010 SEMA Show.
Despite the trade-only attendance rule, this select group was granted a
“golden ticket” through the SEMA Opinion Leader Program. Participants
received access to the SEMA Show on one condition: Their experiences
had to be shared via feedback surveys and, when possible, across a
variety of Internet-based social networks. This was the second year of
the project, and the feedback and enthusiasm were inspiring.
The SEMA Action Network (SAN),
a nationwide partnership of individuals, car clubs and members of the
specialty auto parts industry, continues to work toward eliminating
legislative threats and promoting favorable laws for the automotive
hobby. To further develop this important enthusiast network, the SAN
recently kicked-off a contest to expand its reach by challenging
current SAN members to recruit new members.
For the second year in a row, SEMA invited automotive enthusiasts from
around the country to apply for acceptance to the Opinion Leader
Program. More than 1,000 applications were received. Participants were
accepted based on their responses to a survey, as well as their
activity level on various social media sites and participation in car
clubs.
The vehicle photo gallery on enjoythedrive.com
features images of all of the vehicles on display at the 2010 SEMA
Show. All of the photos are available for download in a high-resolution

the Show? Simply include "Mustang" in the vehicle model box. Looking to
