Sarah Stokes is the vice president of sales for a very unique business in the automotive industry and a member of SEMA’s Young Executives Network (YEN).
The Texas native graduated from the University of Texas with a
Bachelors of Business Administration degree in the Engineering Route to
Business program. She then went on to Harvard Business for graduate
school and received her MBA. Stokes has also served in the Marine
Corps, which has given her a very valuable skill set. She now resides
in Phoenix, Arizona, where Local Motors is located.

Packaging is about more than protecting a product during shipping,
handling and storage. It’s an extension of the product itself. When
properly executed, good packaging reduces costs while branding and
promoting the company and the product to consumers. Ultimately, it’s
all about promise and performance to the buyer.

Collectible car experts gathered at the Petersen Automotive Museum, July
8, to celebrate National Collector Car Appreciation Day, taking part in
panel discussions that included renowned custom and classic car experts
talking shop.
Pinewood vehicles, built by children from Childhelp and Victory Junction Camp, will race against the clock during the SEMA Pinewood Drag Races on July 29. With a donation of only $95, you can personally sponsor one of the childrens' vehicles and help these worthy charities.
SEMA will distribute a total of $112,000 to 68 individuals through the SEMA Memorial Scholarship Fund. For 2011, 56 scholarships were awarded to those pursuing careers in
the industry, and 12 loan-forgiveness awards were presented to
qualified employees of SEMA-member companies.
