SEMA Immediate-Past Chairman Jim Cozzie has joined RTM Productions as
executive vice president. In his new role, Cozzie will oversee
new-business development, integration of procedures and processes and
harmonizing of internal operations.

The WD-40 SEMA Cares Camaro now features a powerful, high-performance
entertainment system, thanks to Eclipse, which uses WD-40 as a
lubricant and corrosion inhibitor to maintain its industrial equipment.
The Automotive Hall of Fame inducted Craig Breedlove, Richard Caleal,
Wunibald Kamm, Hal Sperlich and Mickey Thompson in a ceremony held at
the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center in Dearborn, Michigan on Tuesday.
The “Cash for Clunkers” program, officially known as the Car Allowance
Rebate Systems (CARS), ran from late July to late August. The program
provided government vouchers of $3,500 or $4,500 to be used toward the
purchase of a new vehicle for the trade-in of a used vehicle that met
certain qualifications. The used vehicle was then scrapped. The
program’s premise was to provide the automakers and dealers with a
jumpstart in new car sales while getting so-called “gas guzzlers” off
the road.
General Motors will present its design awards for various categories at this year’s SEMA Show. Categories will be divided into two groups:
A) Vehicles: cars, SUVs, trucks, hot rods, restored vehicles
B) Component/system designs
